BTW, I had emailed buffalo enquiry regarding my file with the subject line as the Kit # they provided on the letter of sponsorship approval. They just replied-

To date the application has not been created. You will receive a letter of acknowledgment upon creation of the file.

Hey everyone!
So after reading this discussion forum for the last couple of months I have finally decided to join it! I've found it very interesting and quite helpful as I too am in the process of sponsoring my husband to come to Canada and we are going through the Buffalo office.

We sent in our application to Missassauga in December and I found out I was approved to sponsor him on January 11th 2011. Now we are anxiously awaiting to hear from Buffalo like everyone else here is....hopefully it will be any day now!

Anyway, just wanted to say hi and that I have been really been enjoying reading all of your posts!! :) talk again soon.
 
Hi Clarkie! Welcome to the forums. I'm glad you've decided to officially join us. :) This is a great place to exchange information and track other's progress.

I've added you to our list, so you'll be on tomorrow's weekly update. As you can see, we have a pretty good sized group of Buffalo applicants... all not-so-patiently waiting for their Aknowledgement of Receipt. Welcome to the group!

@ mcaramount - Congrats on your PPR! That's very exciting. :) I've updated your information on our list.
 
Thanks!!! :) I will look forward to the update tomorrow! Hopefully we are going to be hearing something soon.....I thought for sure we would hear something this week.
 
I did too. ::) Sparkle put together a great spreadsheet that gives you an idea of what's going on, but all the supposition can be maddening. I guess we keep our fingers crossed for next week and wait for Kaz to post something. At least they seem to go from AOR to In Process pretty quickly... that's something!
 
I feel sooo much pressure! You guys will be first to know....right after I tell Hubby of course! :P
 
For our Buffalo Folks (and, to those of you who aren't, sorry for all the obsessing!), DKA just posted the following:

"Hey everyone - GOOD NEWS

Received a letter from Buffalo today [letter dated Feb. 18th/post dated Feb. 22nd] saying the following [in brief]:

Initial assessment complete; expect to finalize your application without a personal interview. [They better not toy with me and say an interview is needed later on down the road]
No additional documents are required at this time. [I better not receive anything later on syaing additional documents are needed because I know I sent in all required documents!]
We have received the results of your medical examination [Finally some information on my medical]

Hopefully soon I will get something in regards to getting my visa!!

Good luck to all hope you guys receive something soon!"

He submitted his application on November 15, 2010. :) Sooo... yay! We should hear something soon then, right?
 
Hi,
I wanted to let you kno that I received my PPR today. Now I have to figure out how to get my Passport to Vienna since I am already in Canada. I might go back to Vienna and get the Visa in Person.
I hope for you guys a fast processing as well.
 
Congrats, Chrimano! That's excellent news. So fast! :) I'll update your information on the spreadsheet.

Hello Peeps! I received this letter last Feb. 14th!!!!!! So... I wish you all good vibes!
 
Aw, best Valentines Day gift ever! :) Thank you for letting us know... Our Buffalo group is dying to hear something. Knowing that the November group has heard something makes us all feel better.

Congrats on your progress! I hope we start seeing some here, too.

Congrats! That was fast!!! What happened to us in November? [Including Sept & Oct???]

I am very happy to see fast processing in the Vienna office, especially since I have applied for a visa in January. I hope they will be as fast for me as they were for you. I wish you all the best.
 
Hi all! I received my AOR letter from Sydney this week. @Quakingaspen you can update my dates to be that of 'narcotics'. Many thanks for your awesome work on our spreadsheet. Sending positive thoughts to all applicants.
