My dates are, I sponsored my spouse and son I am a canadian citizen apllication sent to cic miss in Nov 12 had to send additional paperwork was approved as a sponsor for spouse on Jan18 and for son jan 27 files sent to Buffalo and Port of Spain no additional info from Buffalo on Spouse but Sons ecas says we received application on Feb 7 and two weeks later we saw a post that said medicals have been received

medicals were completed June 2010 for son and September for spouse

@ quakingaspen: Ok I have been trying to log in to ecas for an hour now without any luck. It says that they cannot find my information. And none of the numbers I got from cic on the sponsor approval letter starts with an R.... On their website it say that I won't be able to see a status unless they have started the process. But how come you can see your status?? So worried....

The number with an R is not on your Sponsorship approval forms. It is on the receipt you received when you paid your CIC fees. You can use the Client ID number from your sponsorship approval forms, but make sure to use it with the sponsors birthdate information.

Thank you quakingaspen. I tried the client number with my sponsors information but the could not find him in the system. And apparently they have to start the process first before you can see anything in the ecas. So me not seeing anything means that they still haven't started the process with our application I guess. And you being able to log in to ecas means that they have started the process with your application.

I don't know. I could log in with my sponsors information as soon as they made a decision regarding our sponsorship application. I've been able to log in since early January. All it says is Decision Made for the sponsorship portion. There is no additional information from Buffalo.

Congratulations to everyone who has recieved their PPR recently.

Hopefully I will hear something in the very near future seeing as I am flanked on the spreadsheet by two people who have allready heard !!!

Of the people going through the London office who already have your PPR, did any of you get an 'in progress' update at any point? Just I have not and am unsure if this is something that should concearn me!
