No your wife does not need to declare marriage in toronto. i got married in feb 2010 and has already submitted my hubby's application.

I have only submitted original marriage certificate along with other documents. My sponsorship has approved and we got AOR from CHC-ISB.

but when my wife called to immigration then the telephone operator told her the form "RC65" this is for you marriage declaration ......if its not important then why is that ......

Unless they specifically ask for the original of a document (eg the Police clearance) then copies are assumed.

My husband and I finally dropped ours off at the post office yesterday! I cannot believe we have FINALLY gotten rid of our package! I paid to have it delivered in one business day, and it says it will arrive tomorrow.

I am so excited, I cannot believe our process has finally actually begun! We're doing outland through Buffalo, and from what I've read the processing times in Buffalo are really good right now.

Welcome AngelB! I almost cried when I mailed my application off... it was a very strange feeling. I had been working on it since the summer of 2009. To finally be free of it was both stressful and relieving.

buddhadimple - It doesn't work, unfortunately. I do log onto ecas when I can to see if they're showing any updates (which is silly of course, only half of July has theirs approved!) I wish it would show "in process" too. I wish in general we had more updates all throughout the process.

Just poking my head in from the July applicants thread... I submitted at the end of July and now finding it quite sad to be among the last in July as everyone else gets the letters and can log on to ECAS etc. so thought I'd keep on eye on this thread as well to make sure I'm not left completely behind!

Maybe I'll leave them all behind with a quick 2nd phase through Pretoria but doesn't seem likely

waitingintz - you should be a week before me, or maybe the same week. I know how you feel about the July thread... I'm on the very very bottom and it's like sitting on the edge of my seat holding my breath. I love watching the "Sponsorship Approval" trickle down the list, though!

nyssa - I know right, its such a drag. Im super anxious and I wish they could update us on every step thats been taken. It would be nice if I could login on ecas even if it would show 'application recieved'...id probably feel so much better. Its just roughly about three more weeks and hopefully we all will be getting our first responses...ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhr. I just had to scream, feel better now lol.

bonbon9 - BOO! I am so sorry, I feel your pain entirely. I thought I'd be joining the January thread, then February... then April, May... July... finally I had to make my own thread! I hope you can mail it off as early as possible.

Perfect - No kidding. I'm also a part of the July thread and so far, everyone's been recieving their approval within a couple days from CIC receiving the application which is fantastic news. Given that apparent statistic, I'm looking at 7-10 days myself and then we can start seeing some progress here. I can't wait for everyone to post their super-happy news!!
