Just checked on ECAS and found that the application is In Process in Pretoria since August 31st (so one week after I was approved as a sponsor)... good sign, means the applications aren't sitting around too long. Hopefully you'll be In Process in a couple of weeks!

Oh wow, that is so impressive, sort of helps to calm the nerves lool. Good for you, im right behind you waitingintz expecting my sponsorship approval late this week or early next week. I hope we get to spend Christmas with our loved ones, at the rate this is going in Pretoria we might just be lucky. (Fingers and heart crossed)

My sponsorshop application was received at mississauga on 6th August 2010. Still nothing on E-CAS ..
Just wondering, if I should call CIC and ask ?

OMG I can't wait to get home tomorrow. I've been visiting the hubby down in California since last Thursday and didn't bring a copy of my receipt number so I can't check ecas until tomorrow.

no not this one.

it was titled something like. if u sponsor soemone from a country africa then good luck for long time waiting and high risk refusals.

Any updates today? Must not be updating on Tuesday this week!

EDIT - After I post this, I call my husband and he got the official letter so now I know we were for sure approved!!! Woohoo!!! ;D That was really the most stressful part for me because his history is so chaotic. Now let's hope they issue me my PPR before my medical exam is expired (I'm literally racing against the clock...)
