Hey all,

Update! My fiance got an email today (on his birthday)!

Dear "APPLICANT":

Your application for admission to Canada as a Permanent Resident may now be ready to be finalised, conditional to a

final admissibility review by the immigration officer.

Your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) Form(s) will be valid for your initial entry to Canada until

02/28/2015 (mm/dd/yy).

So that your permanent resident visa(s) can be issued, please submit the documents listed below:

1. 2 x Photographs for you and your accompanying dependents (as applicable) as per the Photo Specifications in

Appendix A

2. The “Updated Information Chart” in Appendix B, fully completed for you and your accompanying dependents

(as applicable).

3. A photocopy of ALL pages of your passport and of the passport(s) for you and your accompanying

dependents (as applicable).

Submit the documents according to the instructions in Appendix C. Please also include a copy of this

correspondence with your submission.

You are required to provide this information within 30 days from the date of this letter. Failure to do so may

result in your application being refused. If you need to renew passports please advise our office of the expected delay.

Mississauga confirmed they were processing our application, but this email came from Sydney. I guess they are doing the final approval!

I'm assuming this is the PPR? Hopefully we'll see an approval and receive COPR soon!

Hi chelcar,
I'm in a very similar position to yourself, from what I now understand my application is being processed out of mississauga. My ecas stated that my application commenced processing on July 24th. Hopefully I won't be too far behind!
Did you receive any further update on ecas from being processed or did you go straight to an email to your partner?

Also if anyone can shed some light on the final admissability review. Is that a request for local office or does that mean on landing?

Congrats Chelcar!!!

Do people know if this is the standard documents/pictures that have to be sent in? I'd like to start getting that ready now if it is!

Also, what is the

Thanks! Hopefully the COPR comes quickly... a bit worried that now that it's in Sydney it will start to slow down :o

As for Appendix B, just looks like a final confirmation of the applicant info?

Appendix B - Updated Information Chart
Surname
(as in passport)
First Name
(as in passport)
Passport Number
Passport Expiry (dd/mm/yyyy)
Height (cm)
Eye Colour Code (see chart below)
Native Language

They want that filled out for:
Principal Applicant
Spouse or Partner
Child 1
Child 2
Child 3
Child 4
Child 5
Child 6

And do they send a link to that appendix B to fill out or is it just attached to the email they send you?

got my GCMS notes today and there is really nothing interesting in there. The only note on there was that I the sponsor is living aboard and for the VO to look into me moving back to Canada which I knew would be in there anyway. I ordered notes on 29/7 and there was an due date of 5/8 for the application to be assigned. I am assuming that meant they would have someone to start working on the app hopefully meaning the final assignment. I can see some things showing passed and some in progress. So I guess things are being worked on. But in all honesty not much info in there that I didn't already know.

I don't think there is ever really much you can do other than wait. I'm sure cic has the work cut out for them and I don't envy the difficult task that they have making big decisions. I'm going to put my faith in gods hands that it will all process as quickly as it's meant to. Hopefully I will be as quick as some of the others!! I'm missing my girl and my pup and canada sooo bad! But knowing what I'm going home to canada keeps me strong!!
People are getting processed quickly so I say kudos immigration!!
I'm going to have to go offline to save myself stressing myself into a frenzy for a week or so!
Good luck to everybody!
May your application stresses and worries be all for nothing sooner, or later lol

oh for sure nothing can be done but wait... They have steps to follow and I am sure it is not as easy as it sounds. I am lucky that I am not separated from my husband and kids while we wait this out. I am happy for everyone who has progress/approved we are all waiting and going through the same thing.

Yeah so many worries come to mind, did I fill out the application correctly, have I given them everything they need. Is two years in a childless relationship enough? We have our puppy though!! Haha she's our baby!
Fingers crossed and prayers said!

You will be fine.. Australia accepted me when we were newlyweds and no kids! :) Plus animals are definitely babies and part of our family. :)

Good Luck!

Good Luck!

We aren't married though :(
We've always stuck by one another through thick and thin anyways!!

I still think you will be fine... 2 years is a long relationship.

well you're counting lol. I wont even mention how long I have been with my husband :P
