Oh btw all it states on ecas is
We recieved application on May 15th
Application for myself began processing on July 24th
Medical results recieved

If anyone could ease a nervous mind

A month later and nothing yet, is this the usual?

I can log in with my info. Though ecas still gives the same information. I'm guessing it may have stayed in mississauga or gone to ottawa?

For us we got AOR and SA approval on the same day then about 10 days later we got AOR from Sydney and since then nothning. ECAS still showing as application received and we've been waiting since March.

For the ones who stayed in Mississauga they also got an AOR letting them know so It does seem odd that you haven't recieved anything and that your application is already in process.

It seems to be the status quo that there is no 'status quo'
My application is being processed without second aor
And from what I understand you have aor 2 and not yet being processed?

yes exactly! AOR 2 but no in process as of yet.

I know myself at times have a bad day at work and forget to do things. Perhaps it's a case of one vo to another? I'm sure your application is moving alone well!!
At least you know where yours is!! I sent an email to Sydney to see if they can help me! I need to make a change of address in Australia but am unsure as to how or where to even send it!!

You can change your address in ECAS. Hopefully Sydney will be able to let you know where your application is.

It is saying I need to contact the visa office in my region? If they dot have my application I'm not sure what I can do there haha.. I was hoping to send additional information to support my application as well, where to send it too?

ah! Sydney is usually pretty good at replying to emails... if not then if your partner is in Canada they can call the CIC call centre and they should be able to tell you where your application is.

I am the applicant. Can still only log into ecas with my partners log in and that's it. It never told us where was sent for process

Same here, partner (applicant) cannot log in to ECAS.

AOR2 was received on 17 Aug.

Hopefully your app went to Ottawa - much quicker there.

Update! My fiance got an email today (on his birthday)!

Dear "APPLICANT":

Your application for admission to Canada as a Permanent Resident may now be ready to be finalised, conditional to a

final admissibility review by the immigration officer.

Your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) Form(s) will be valid for your initial entry to Canada until

02/28/2015 (mm/dd/yy).

So that your permanent resident visa(s) can be issued, please submit the documents listed below:

1. 2 x Photographs for you and your accompanying dependents (as applicable) as per the Photo Specifications in

Appendix A

2. The “Updated Information Chart” in Appendix B, fully completed for you and your accompanying dependents

(as applicable).

3. A photocopy of ALL pages of your passport and of the passport(s) for you and your accompanying

dependents (as applicable).

Submit the documents according to the instructions in Appendix C. Please also include a copy of this

correspondence with your submission.

You are required to provide this information within 30 days from the date of this letter. Failure to do so may

result in your application being refused. If you need to renew passports please advise our office of the expected delay.

Mississauga confirmed they were processing our application, but this email came from Sydney. I guess they are doing the final approval!

I'm assuming this is the PPR? Hopefully we'll see an approval and receive COPR soon!

Thanks, and no I'm not! I couldn't find the spreadsheet and gave up pretty quickly haha

We never actually received an official stage 2 AOR. We were told the file was being transferred on July 18th (in my sponsorship approval email), however after about a month we hadn't heard anything about Sydney receiving it. I ended up calling and found out that we were being processed in Mississauga but that the file would likely go to Sydney for final approval. This email came from Sydney, but it's the first we'd heard from them!

Fingers crossed we'll receive COPR quickly (and so will all of you)!
