People are actually required to take an interview before anything else????? Im concerned that I ll be inline for an interview soon... cause my file is already about 4 months processing. What are some things are need to prepare for?

Hi Imran,

My application was processed via an immigration lawyer who paid the fees when required so I am not sure how it is done.

I have checked the CIC website. The easiest way seems to pay online. More information is provided at the link below;

Good luck. I hope this helps.

Thanks mate.... I just received PPR.... all seems to be fine! fingers crossed.

Hello everyone. I just want to know what is the usual next step after Sydney Canadian Embassy received medical results? And based in ur experiences how long it took to get a next reply from them?

Hello,

We received an email to send "Appendix B" Form to Sydney VO by email or post (we emailed it to them). They also requested to confirm our passports are still the same. My dilemma is I have already sent "RPRF" Bank cheque last week and they received it on "07/Jan/2014" but they requested RPRF payment in the email. I emailed them explaining about the situation and also gave them the bank cheque details. Its been 2 weeks since they received our Bank cheque and I checked with CBA and they informed me that the cheque is still not cashed/paid yet.

How long does it take Sydney VO to cash a bank cheque for RPRF? I am scared they might have lost it... :-[ Please help....

The medical clinic in Auckland (one of 3 approved)...I have to say I'm not impressed at all. They gave us a 'letter' which is signed by the receptionist saying that x (with passport yzw) completed a medical for Canadian immigration purposes. There is no reference to a UMI, it's a photocopy of their own letter and they say 'the emedical file cannot be accessed now.' There is 0 reference to the physician also.

Can anyone confirm this is sufficient - it does not appear to be yet they insist they don't 'do anything' now that it's all electronic.

Thanks!

Hi...

We're in the same boat! :) We sent our Appendix B confirming passport details and since then, radio silence.

Does anyone know what's the usual time frame between returning a completed Appendix B and the next stage?

It's also been 2 weeks for us, too (7-Jan-2014).

Cheers...

So I receive this just now,

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:
Ø Police Clearance Certificate for AUSTRALIA as per the attached instructions Note: you must provide a 'Standard Disclosure' police certificate as per the attached instructions - not a 'Complete Disclosure' as submitted.
Ø Provide a 10 YEAR Traffic History Report from Queensland Transport, to complete the requirements of your Australian Police Clearance: http://www.tmr.qld.gov.au/
The above information/documents must be received in our office before: 19 FEBRUARY 2014. Failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application. Please quote your complete application number on all correspondence with this office.

I don't know why this is the first time I heard of this. I spent $100 to get a check with fingerprints and didn't see anything about a traffic history. I'm going to send of the required applications tomorrow and hoping I can nominate to have them both sent to Syd Imm. Sucks.

How's everyones aplication? Seemed like the process has been a bit slow since my medical results have been received by sydney office. What was your experience?

Hey guys,

We got our second AOR yesterday from the Consulate General in Sydney. At first we were like "GREAT", but then we noticed that the date of receipt was the exact same date they had given us for arrival in Mississauga. Has anyone had this same issue? Should it be a cause for concern?

Ours was the same, identical except your second one should give you Sydney Consulate address at the bottom.

Hi Torvic, we haven't heard anything from Sydney yet. I don't think that sounds like any cause for concern tho, they seem to let you know things more than once. Its funny when I read on here people having not paid things up front via CC or not having the right police checks. I'm really hoping the fact we did everything in advance helps things go through really fast...
