Hi all,

Just had the medical done in Auckland, NZ, but I don't believe my fiancee got a copy of the Medical Summary - 1017...after some forum reading, it looks like they no longer issue the 1017 but a printout with a UMI only? Has anyone recently done a medical and what form did you receive to show you completed the requirement and how long did it take?

Thanks!

Hey, we filled a form IM1017 which was sent to us by email from Sydney VO... Medical tests included Urine, Xray, Doctor Check up and blood test... It took us around 3 hours for all the tests.... Have you got a RPRF request? How are you paying it? I am stressed as my drafts were returned (Stupid bank people made a mistake)....

This will be an upfront medical, before submitting the application, so no forms to fill out.

Hello,

I made 2 bank cheques of AUD 490 each in favour of "CONSULATE GENERAL OF CANADA IN SYDNEY" (1 for myself and other one for my spouse), drawn on Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Is this the correct method of paying RPRF in Australia for FSWP migration? I am very stressed at this moment. Please help... ??? ???

Thanks,
Imran

Could anyone please tell me how long does it normally take after you have submitted documents they have requested.
BTW they did ask for driving history and Police check.
Thanx for the help

Hey guys, we just got our AOR from CIC saying they got it on Dec. 9.

After not hearing anything from them we emailed and now know they received our application on the 13th of December.. After nothing from them I guess it's at least comforting to know they have it and I guess it must all be in order... 28 days means we should hear something about sponsor approval any day now I hope... How's your's going Torvic? Any word?

Hi...

I think we are at the Passport Request phase because on ECAS, we both have "Decision Made" in our respective boxes. Furthermore, the Visa Office only asked to confirm passport details and not the passport itself.

It's been 11 weeks since 22-Oct-2013 (Courier Date).

We're also going through a combination of Quebec and CIC so the timelines won't quite match up.

G'luck...

We just got our sponsorship approval via email, and they noted in the letter that they are now sending the application to the office in Sydney. Yours must be coming up soon too - fingers crossed!!

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, my application still say's In-Process, but i am hoping to hear from them this coming week hopefully.
Best off luck to u and me :)

Our ecas was updated. Under sponsor it now says decision made and that the decision was sent on January 7th and under applicant it states they received my medical results. Hopefully SA is on the way!

Hi Imran,

My application was processed via an immigration lawyer who paid the fees when required so I am not sure how it is done.

I have checked the CIC website. The easiest way seems to pay online. More information is provided at the link below;

Good luck. I hope this helps.

Hello,
So yesterday I recieved a second AoR, this one seemingly from the VO in Sydney. First (sponsor's) AOR: Dec 28. My (applicant) AoR: Jan 13. We are yet to recieved anything via email or snail regarding the SA but with this second AoR I'm hoping we can assume my boyfriend was approved and my file sits patiently on some wonderful Aussie VO's desk waiting to get started.

That's good to hear. I think it's safe to assume that your sponsor's application was approved if they've sent it off to Australia. We were about a week behind you on the first AOR, so fingers crossed that's the same for this one!
