Thanks Westie :-)

This is Insane i just checked online and i went to "In Process" on the 15th of October i only Submitted it on the 26th of July!!! Fingers Crossed.

I hope they keep working at this pace (or faster). Quebec is taking their time and there doesn't seem to be any way to find out how long they are taking with applications. Mine is sitting in Sydney and will probably sit there with nothing happening until QC makes a decision. Once that's done I really, really hope that I will be able to post some insanely fast processing time ;)

QC processing time is about 20 days - 1 month after you lodge a application to MICC.
When Sydney touch your file they will ask for copy of CSQ.

At least this is what happen to me :)

That is amazing news mitchb86.

I can't believe how quickly they are processing cases. There is a downside though...

I submitted my application 2 weeks after you and didn't expect anything to happen until well into 2014. I have committed to work in Sydney until the end of March :o

I never thought there was a chance of my case being processed before then (touching wood of course!).

It's already way past that for me. I'm going to wait another two weeks in case it just turns up in the mail and then we will phone them if we still haven't heard anything.

Just my luck - the strike ends, everything starts moving quickly, and then QC slows right down :-(

I got an email from Sydney giving me 5 days to get the CSQ to them or my PR application will be denied. I called Sydney & told them the CSQ has not yet come through and they suggested that if I don't get it in the next couple of days then the application should be withdrawn and resubmitted after the CSQ arrives. Very helpful, I don't think.

MICC has apologised & say they will process it in time - they wanted a passport copy but neglected to ask for it. They just put the application aside and forgot about it. In hindsight, we should have phoned them sooner. So, I'm a bit panicked that Sydney has given a hard deadline and don't seem to care that we are waiting on Quebec.

However, I guess this means that Sydney is processing my application. Let's hope they don't process it with a big fat denied :-(

Hi all,

My ECAS status changed to decision made on 16 th October , usually Sydney takes one or 2 days to send an email for passport request, but I haven't got it yet , really getting worried now . Any idea how long usually Sydney takes to send an email after decision made .

I was in the same situation PaddyO. Couldn't believe Sydney only took 19 days to process my application (total processing time was June 21 (filed) to Visa issued on Sept 6). I had actually gone on a visit to see my spouse in Canada (thinking we were months away from getting the visa and then I got the passport request the day i got back to Australia). Crazy!
I had told my employer that i would work until at least Christmas - thankfully they let me go early - but i still had to work for 6 more weeks after getting the visa - and everyday my husband was bugging me to get on a plane and LAND.

hoping your processing goes smoothly :)

Have just emailed my passport copies and Appendix B, it wasn't to painful fortunately. I set up a UPS account and opted for delivery via courier, i was unsure how to prepay however so i am not sure if it will work or not, worth a shot. has anybody had experience with the courier delivery?

I did the same thing (except it was days ago), did it work out for you to set up the account only? I couldn't figure out how to prepay either.

I just received a letter from CIC on Friday which requested that me and my sponsor attend a final interview, to bring 2 more photographs to process my PR card and my previous immigration document (IEC visa). I'm assuming this might be a landing interview. I'm also guessing since I didn't use a courier for my passport request that the office has received it
