Hi uvcan. I did attach the consent of disclosure form at the time of filing and not ministry of justice police clearance. Are you asked to resubmit these documents or did you submit something wrong the first time?

Hi ansukh!! You and I are in the same boat right now. It says decision made but nothing else. They haven't asked me for any other documents so I am assuming it's all positive. Since you are from a visa exempt country you will get a PPR but you would just have to scan every page of your passport and send them via e-mail. THen you will receive your COPR!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

i didnt know abt consent of disclosure form,
i only sent d police clearnace certificate from
ministry of justice , last week they requested me
to send consent of disclosure form ,n i sent it on d same day,
now lets hope that they do it in few weeks .fingers crossed.

Hi guys!

Congrats to everyone who has received some good news from the Sydney office lately. Hopefully some of you will be receiving PPR soon.

I just wanted your input on something. My husband and I will be flying to Thailand in 2 weeks. I will be flying from Canada and he will be flying from Australia and we will meet in Thailand. Our stay is only for 10 nights. We were wondering if we need to notify Sydney Office of this.

Nothing at all. They haven't even had the decency to reply to my email request for an update. Congratulations to everyone who is getting updates and progress but this is a seriously flawed system.

Just wondering how many people hired lawyers/consultants?? Perhaps this would be good info to add to the spreadsheet and perhaps that is why there is such a difference in processing for some.

This wait is making me crazy haha!! Wish I could start applying for jobs etc so I'd have something to keep me busy while I wait for the email/letter.. Do u happen to know how long it takes to get the PPR? I noticed decision made on saturday so it's been 3 days now and still no email from them, u would think they send it as soon as they made the decision ae?

Yeah it is so weird isn't it? Most people hear some sort of communication from them after decision made. YOU received a letter from them stating your interview is waived and you have to submit a disclosure but then they made a decision on your case in days after that. lol. I didn't receieve anything from them, not even a letter stating the interview is waived.
Now I check my email at least 10 times a day hoping to get that PPR request from them. It's making me crazy
Another person on the spreadsheet (dreadedpiper) had the decision made for weeks now but no PPR. I hope we don't have to wait that long... that would suck ???
YOU would probably be the first one among us to get the PPR. Please do let us know as soon as possible after getting an email from them.

hello every1...finally got a letter from immigrationrequesting passport for my wife for permanent residence. finally waiting time should be over soon.

the letter says "YOUR PERMANENT RESIDENT VISA WILL BE VALID FOR TRAVEL UNTIL: *03/14/2014".

so does this means the visa is granted and they just need to stamp it.

thanks god alot and hope every1 else gets their visa soon too.
