I am leaving Canada on the 18th which will be 16 days for me since I sent PPR, I am crossing fingers and toes that I will get mine by then. Otherwise I will start planning another holiday to land after we get back.
Congrats! Where did you go to get it? Sydney or somewhere in Canada?flatblack said:COPR received! ;D

Flagpole went smoothly. 40min wait at the border (going on a Friday is the worst time). Filled out a form on the US side, then went to the Canada side with the form. The actual COPR-landing process took about 5min.
You most certainly can apply Outland and still reside inside Canada, I was the entire process. Outland is FAR better than Inland. It's on average 6 months from the date you send the application to receiving COPR. Inland could take up to 18 months-2 years, you also HAVE to stay inside Canada. Leaving could revoke your application.zacvv said:Hi all,
Just looking for some information on which way is better inland or Outland? What's the average wait time Outland?
Also how does it work with Outland will I need to go back to Australia anytime during the process?
Everything Aussam said. I think wait times depend a lot on your application and how complicated it is. The one advice I would add is to do your medical and pay all your fees (including RPRF) upfront like it says in the application guide. Each time they have to get in touch with you to tell you to go get your medical done, go pay your fee, send in this document, etc, will extend the time of processing. You may need to go back to Australia to do an interview if there are any doubts about your application, so make sure you put in quality evidence of relationship.zacvv said:Hi all,

I don't think anyone will be able to help you with this sorry. You seem to have gone through a new process through Missisauga, most people get posted their COPR. Although I imagine you will land, I couldn't imagine why else they would have an interview.ellybec said:I'm going for my COPR interview later this week at a CIC office in Vancouver. Does anyone know if this means that I will be landing there? Or will I need to do a border run? What is the process after getting COPR?
