Fantastic....Congrats! I saw your post and took a look at my b/f's email and sure enough he received PPR visa email today! Wahoo...!
We are trying to plan to go to Buffalo to submit it in person... although I live in Alberta, I work for an airline and can get to Buffalo quite easily, so should cut down on the return time. My boyfriend is eager to start working!

Congrats! :)

I wonder why there'd be a full week between "decision made" and a PPR though. You'd think that sending a standardised e-mail should be pretty easy.

It took London ten days to send me the email after Decision Made came up on Ecas. I was thinking I was going to get a letter in the post and it was in the middle of a postal strike, so every day I was patiently waiting by the letter box and then it came in an email...

I got my Marriage certificate today in the mail....

Does anyone know if we haven't received our AOR number or File Number from the Embassy Abroad, what reference number do we use.

The only reference number if have is the payment receipt number and the Client ID number i received with first stage approval...

Someone on another post said to reference the AOR number, but i haven't received it as of yet..... i don't want it to get lost or put aside by the Embassy in london.

Is there anyway we can email it to the embassy?

Thanks

Taha

The client ID follows you throughout the process, so I would be very surprised if you couldn't use it.

not all visa offices send AOR, but you can send them email requesting your file number. but if you do not receive the reply back, just do not worry, you can follow all the process using Client ID without any problem.

Once you have a client ID number you keep the same number forever.

Thanks everyone.....
:)

Is there a phone number (London) where we can call and find out our file number....or it can only be done by email?

hey all, back to the question regarding sending documents to london.

I was going to scan and email my wife the marriage certificate and have her print it and drop it of in person. Would you guys recommend that or have her use a courier service so there is a tracking number and some sort of paper trail....

Thanks

she could drop it in person to the embassy itself - the most safest way, or use a courier with tracking number - both ways are ok an can work just fine.
