OK, e-CAS flipped this morning to "Decision Made". The first delivery attempt on that statutory declaration was on Saturday, so in theory, they could have picked it up this morning when the post office opened. Or they could have made a decision without it. Anyone have any insight?

edit: They picked it up this morning.

Congrats! Thats a quick decision... Buffalo started processing ours on Nov 4- we got our initial assesment which said they were waiting for the medical from Ottawa, but the interview would be waived and no additional docs were requested. We faxed Ottawa and they said Buffalo now as access to the medicals (whatever that means!). So I am just waiting and wondering why they havent finalized it yet? They seem to be working at super speed and when I see others around my timeline get PPR before us, its kind of discouraging :(...

get ready for the good news in the nearest future, diddagirl! :)

I really appreciate the congrats but I'm still 50/50 with what decision was made.

Oh, poor JamesM, you're a worrier just like me! I was reading your old posts and found this from another thread when someone was in the same situation as you are now:

Was it a sham marriage? Are you a terrorist? No?

Then congrats! Decision made!!

Yippy!

Update on ecas in the last 3 hours that CIC Berlin began processing Dec 7. ;D It's not a big step but it's still evidence things are on track and our file hasn't fallen behind the radiator or something - it's enough that we're drinking wine and doing victory dances around the house tonight (an absolutely pitiful sight, I can assure you!)

Have a good evening all!

were in the same spot, hopefully we here something on medical result and decision made soon...praying and fingers crossed!!!

And this very much dispels, once and for all, the "updates only on Tuesdays" myth. Thank goodness my obsessive Wed-Mon checking paid off :D

Hi all. Just want to share our timeline with you.

22 October - application received at CPC-M
5 November - started processing and approved sponsorship application
24 November - London office started processing immigration application
8 December - phone call from CHC to confirm something
9 December - passport request

Needless to say, we're thrilled. Canadian sponsor, South African/French applicant. Living common law in London now, will be living common law in Vancouver soon!

When were you able to view your case on E-Cas?

Also, does anyone know the legitimate fax number of CIC missisauga?

UK2TO: The passport request came by email.

travelcouple: E-Cas was updated this week to say the case was in process, which is still the status.

That is insanely fast. :o

Congrats! :)

OMG, checked this morning, expecting NOTHING at all....and beside my b/fs name it said DECISION MADE!! When I click on the link it says this:

We started processing your application on November 4, 2009.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

I guess we simply wait for the PPR letter now? I cant believe how shocked I was to see that.... overall time it took from Mississauaga receiving it to Buffalo making a decision was 2 months and 5 days!
