kierra said:yay, hubby in Canada received my AOR and the initial assessment today posted Nov. 11th. My interview has been waived. I suppose it all means nothing YET, but it sure feels good to get something. =)
kierra said:oh, sorry. from what i understand, initial assessment is just that. they have looked at my file and concluded that at this point they dont think I will need to be interviewed... but I have been with my husband for 11 years and married since 2003 and we have a child together.
kierra said:Yes, I am going through Buffalo. My medicals were done back in August ahead of time so I assume they were forwarded to Buffalo. So first day showing that Buffalo started processing was Oct. 30th (on ecas) and it said medicals have been received at that point. I used my husbands address for my mailing address so they sent the AOR and initial assessment to him... the assessment was dated Nov. 11th.
kierra said:Ok so I got my husband to scan the letter and send me a copy of the initial assessment. all looks fine, no interview, no additional documents required... BUT lol isn't there always a but. on the medical section there is a X marked for myself and my daughter.... medical results have been received. for my two sons however, there is a X on the box that says.... we have the receipt that medicals were performed however we have not received the results. How did they get separated? we did them at the same time. does this happen sometimes?
