YEAH!!!!!!!

Just logged in to check on the status of my application! I have not been able to successfully do this up until today!

I not only actually got in to the account but it says that my application was opened a decision on my sponsorship application has been made and that a letter has been sent with details.

Application sent UPS - October 2
Application received Mississauga and signed for - October 5
Application opened - October 27
Decision made on Sponsorship Application - October 27
Letter sent - October 27

Good luck to others who are waiting!

Congrats tysgran! So far, October is proving to be a very fast month! Lets hope the luck continues for the second phase of the application...

I am actually the Canadian- sponsoring my common law spouse. Thankfully he is here with me in Alberta right now, just very tough as he cant work! Where are you headed in Canada?

Logged into E-cas this morning and low and behold, "Decision Made".... much quicker then anticipated as it only took 20 days from the time they received it!

Congratulations, diddagirl! Let the 2nd part of your application be as fast as the 1st!

Is it with the online reciept after paying fees?

Yes, exactly- by using the online receipt number, along with the sponsor's date of birth, name and country of birth

Ya im the sponsor, so i have that information

Mailed my application 22, so its a bit to early, i guess just have to wait like everyone else about 3 or 4 weeks

I send my wife sponsorship applicaiton package form Saskatoon with Purolator corrier on 28th October at 2PM, CPC M received it on 29th 10 AM.. now its waiting game

go to this site: http://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/ECAS.jsp

and use your reciept number... give it a few days to process and check.

actually i am i have two receipts as paid two times online $550 and then 490 , any idea which one i have to use ???
