thats great news, like you britinicanada, I paid many weeks before - I'll revert back if/when my 1st stage approval happens.

BTW -at what point and how can you start to see the application process on the CIC website?

You can log into E-CAS as soon as CIC has made a decision..watch the processing times and then you can check using receipt number on or around the date your application was received

Just about to send off my application on Friday!

I just have a quick question: On all the additional forms that we type up about our relationship history, etc, did anyone bother to sign them? The thing is I am out of town and have everything here with me so my sponsor can't sign it. Is this a problem?

I didn't sign mine..just put my name, date of Birth, client Id (I already have one) sponsors name, sponsors date of birth and which form it pertained to! I thought about it..but didnt do it

I haven't signed any additional papers like that.

Mine is going in the mail after my kids wake up from nap!

Nervous!

I thought some of you were kidding about having to send it in a box... Now that I have everything printed, I understand - it's so much!

I'm a bit miffed, FedEx refused to ship it. Saying they couldn't to PO boxes.
So I ended up at USPS, and they can't confirm it's delivery 100%. I was able to insure it though, to cover expense of another medical should it get lost.

Hi guys! I'm sending mine the end of the month, I decided to apply Out land in Mexico City, I have just 2 question, hope you can help me. Where do i have to select my medical examination to be send? Mexico city or Mississauga? and about the fees? Can I pay the Right of Permanent Residence fee here in Canada? I read that could fast the process in case it's approve!

Good luck every one sending in July!

Thank you very much!

I'm not sure on the medical question. The DR I saw checked Ottawa as where they go - which I later found out is right (but I'm outland thru Buffalo). I had thought it was supposed to be Mississuaga - so over Mexico City, I'd say Mississauga.

You can pay the fees in Canada - the link below tells you how.

I will be sending mine in a week. So I will join here. Hope everyone will have a safe process

If luck is on our side, we should have everything ready to go on Monday.
Still feel like I have so much to do so I have a bit more copying to do and printing off more pictures to do.
My hubby is off work on Sundays and Mondays so hopefully he can help me proofread over everything. I hope it is a normal feeling to feel like you are forgetting something important or didn't do something right.

Anyway, the hubby and me went to Canada Post today to pick up a priority envelope to send our mail in. I am surprised the thing fit in there especially since our app is pushing over 400 pages now...ugh so much paper and ink. I also got my police clearance today and it of course said no arrest record was in the database. :D

I am fairly confident we will be the last ones left in this thread as we are submitting our application to Vegreville so we have at least an 8 month wait before AIP so we will see. I pray I have enough sanity to get through this. My biggest fear right now is having my application returned because even though we will send an OWP if my application is returned, I will be out of status and won't know what to do. :-\

Hears wishing everyone in here the best of luck. :-*

Me too, I was up tossing and turning last night questioning myself! :(

I hope that things finish up smoothly for you.

Oh that stinks!
I guess I'm OK with USPS, I just worry more it won't get there. I've had trouble with them losing things for my MIL/SIL on just on instance in the last 13 years, so hopefully.
