Congrats Fibud and Ambar!

I got an e-mail today : Dear Applicant,

Please be advised that we sent passport collection letter to you on 28 May 2010.

SO YAY. things Are moving! :)

YAY!! Congrats!!

PPR FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are so over the moon, I burst into tears when hubby showed me the e-mail! We have our flights booked for July 6th! We called work and cancelled our shifts on Thursday and are off to drop off passport in person! We pick it up on the 1st of July, 5 days before we fly! What a deadline.

Thanks to everyone for listening to me moan, you deserve a medal! Good luck to those who are still waiting, it was like someone was pouring salt into my wounds when everyone else was getting PPR. Those feelings are all gone now and they will be for you very very soon! Keep your chins up, it will be your turn soon!

YAYAYAAAYAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! We are on cloud 9, out tonight to celebrate! It is our one year anniversary on Saturday - what a great early anniversary gift for the two of us!

YAYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!! Really happy for you!!!!!!!!! Mr. Cowtown and me are going to Canada on Friday for him to land and I've been thinking of you guys as we've been preparing!!! SO happy that it's all come through in time!!! Have a fantastic celebration and happy anniversary!!! :) :) :)

Thank you so much cowtown gal! We are just so so soooooooo happy! Good luck with the landing process and safe journey! It must feel so much more official that you are going to land!
We have already moved out of our flat, finish work on the 26th of June and we already got rid of all our furniture and things we won't be bringing over. We are already well prepared for the move thankfully! If we didn't hear today or tomorrow for PPR then hubby would have had to enter as a visitor as the visa wouldn't have been ready in time! How lucky!
Let us all know how the landing process goes eh? We are landing in Toronto!

We sent our INLAND application in Jan 18. Still nothing on E-CASE and we found out there is a mix up with my husbands case file number..ohhh feel like we are flying blind. CIC assures us that they haven't even started opening cases for Jan in our class. They are only on Nov 2009. I think we l feel a little better when we know something. ::)

We send my application on Jan 5/2010, it was received at CIC-Vegreville on Jan 8/2010 and CIC started to process it on Mar 13/2010; current status: In Process.... we're still waiting for 1st Stage of Approval...

Does anyone knows if I can send my application of OWP after we submitted my application for Sponsorship?

Finally i got the passport request. It was sent 28 of may and I got it today, 22 of June - That is 25 days :S. It says on the paper that " Your visa will be valid for entry to Canada until 5 August 2010. If me sending my passport to them and them sending it back will take as much time as the last letter, then my visa will be not valid anymore :S. What should I do? Is there a very quick mail service that at least I can put my effort in to get it there ASAP. And do I send it to the address that was on the Passport Request letter?. They only give instructions of personal delivery to Warssaw..nothing about sending it by mail from Canada.

Thank you for your advice!!!
But I am super happy that it finally got here. There is a very nice sentence at the end - We extend our best wishes to you for a happy and successful future life in Canada. :)

Congrats, Simpson!!!
Use DHL or Fedex, They deliver in 2-5 days, will cost ~$70-120 one way. You have to include prepaid envelope to be sent back.
Good luck!!!

BTW,
I believe the Canadian embassy address is
ul. Piekna 2/8, Warsaw. We had an interview there.
Is this the same address you got your correspondence?

Thank you kolibri. yes it is the same address the letter came from. We might use Xpresspost by Canada post. It is quick aswell..and I think the possibility of losing envelopes is present everywhere...so as long as I am positive it will make it on time :D (we dont have much money right now. the xpresspost is like 60 dollars).

:)

I was told that they can't provide prepaid return envelope (don't offer this service outside Canada). Double check it, and please let me know also

CIC had given my husband and another individual the same Client ID #

Yes you were right, they didn´t provide a prepaid envelope, because Poland has his own postage and prices. Our expresspost will get there in 7 business days. and then Poland has 33 days to send it back to me, before it expires on 5 of. august. All i can do is pray!

DHL and Fedex will send it back in 3-5 days for ~115$. I would try this. It soo expensive, but I believe it's worth it if your visa expired on august 5.
