I am currently in canada with my husband, and we are going to one of the boarder tomorrow!!

I am a bit nurvase!

It's been 4 month and a few weeks now, hopefully it's gonna be finish tomorrow!

Hi, I heard in the Punjabi India news paper this morning CHC Delhi has put a 3 month hold on all immigration cases to Canada. Is this True can anyone confirm?

March.18 ND started process on case
MArch.28 got passport request
April.25 got document back to fill question #11 and got pictures back from wedding.
April.28 sent back document with missed question.

What is the process now? Help.

I just came bacl from my LANDIND!!!

It's done!!!!!!!!!!

At the border,I had very nice officer both in CANADA and U.S.

Officers know about this PR landing and I did not have any problem.

I was in the U.S for maybe 30 min.They took my passport and CPR,after that I went back to Canada,
in office,sign CPR and officer gave me a big handshake and told me "Congratulation!"

Took me 4 months and 2 weeks for this moment Finally I am happy!

thank you for your answers, you have helped me so much, a lot less stressful of course! as you all know this is a journey and requires some patience (which i have very little of!) yusuf, would u mind giving me your email address? i would like to talk to you about some more issues i am having. or can you write to me personally? my email is sexxieekit @ live.ca.
just one quick question: i have to attach emails, conversations, etc.... do i attach just one copy of the proof? or does my husbands application need proof, and mine too? or does it all go together as one? so i would need one copy of the emails, etc.? or two copies? i have the application just about completed, and i have my husbands part, then my part, i know his part will be sent to rabat, so thats why i am wondering if i attach the proof of relationship to his application, or mine? in my application it also asks me to show proof of relationship, so do i just copy the proof from my husbands? or do i add more proof? sorry if that sounds a bit confusing!
any help would be super! thanks again for getting me along this far...

I too was recently married in Morocco and filed an application in Dec 2009 to sponsor my wife.

If you require any further help with your application, I can see what I can do to assist. BTW, you mailbox is full as I have tried a few times unsuccessfully sending you an email.

finally we got news from moscow... they are asking us to re-do medical and police checks... yeah.. both expired thanks to our super duper slow lawyer (who was more pain in the ass than help and finally submitted docs only when we got pissed off) and quite slow moscow office.
ehh... another at least 3 months of waiting.

Hi Delhi is very busy, I got passport request on March.26th and since then I have only received my pictures back on April. 25th. Still waiting for news.

I have read other forums and people are getting decsion made and passports back with stamps. So lets see what happens soon. Remember they have to issue you a visa before the medical expires which is one year. so the maximum you will wait is 1 year from medical. Wishing everyone the best.

Anybody got any updates today on ECAS, they update it.

well, with new medical - i know what happens next - ~ 3months waiting, as that's average processing time for medical tests in London.
what pisses me off - Moscow used regular mail to notify us (wonder why did they ask to give them e-mail in app form if they are not using it?). and it took 1 month just to get their letter. 1 month was practically just wasted.

hello january applicants - wanted to share the good news that yesterday we received an email requesting the passport!!! we are very happy and plan to mail it off first thing monday! there was no offical approval in writing, but as i have worked in immigration law offices, i see no reason why they would decide not to issue his visa(fingers crossed)!

i am so thankful for this thread - this forum - for helping us during the difficult waiting period. we wish everyone the best and hope for quick processing times for all the great couples struggling to get through this process! GL!

Congrats Fibud, good to know that more of the January applicants are getting through. I'm still stuck waiting to hear from London and to be honest i think i am loosing my marbles, mainly because i have been reading the February and March threads and there are people there that have had passport requests already.

Just wanted to update, it's been 3 months for me and my husband since his case went to the office in damascus.
I know we still probably have a few months of waiting left... i hope its sooner rather than later.

will update if anything changes, so far nothing on e-cas.
