ECAS was off for a day, and today it was magically on...and Magically my Permanent Residence Application Status - was In Process!!!!

They say they started processing my application on 15th of february

YAY - I am super glad it made over the ocean!!!!

i wonder how long i have to wait now..hmmmmm

Our sponsorship application was approved Feb. 16th, and we got the letter telling us of the approval today, Feb. 22nd.

Congratulations to everyone - looks like a lot of good news coming through lately!!

Just checked e-cas, took a while - looks the website is still a bit slow after updates, etc. We now have 'IN PROCESS' in London!! Only came up on e-cas today and says they started processing 17 Feb!
We're so excited!!!! One step closer!

Will keep all fingers crossed that everyone hears good news soon.

Hi Cowgirl, i'm almost the same time frame as you. I've been unable to log in to e-cas as the applicant but my OH is able to log in as the sponsor using both his receipt number and the client number found on his confirmation on eligibility. What log in are you using?

Hi L and C, You must use your sponsors information to be able to log into e-cas.

Thanks sweet G in that case no change from decision made, I've never been this impatient before even waiting for exam results i was able to deal with. Good luck and swift processing to everyone on this thread

Yeap, am soooooo impatient, I can't sit still....I had to once wait 2 months for my licencing exams results. and I now, I feel like that was a breeze!!! I really miss my husband and its just not the same when you are appart. Everything is harder.

Hi SweetG and LandC, that's right - we still log in using my (sponsor) details. It only just said 'in progress' from today. I know what you mean, it's really difficult waiting for these updates!

I haven't heard anything yet, it's been 4 weeks this Wednesday since they received the application at CPC-M and I am starting to get really pissed off rather than annoyed!

Oh no! Hope you hear soon. We heard about 3.5 weeks after it was recieved and the processing times on the CIC website just went up a little bit recently, so maybe it'll just be that little bit longer. I really hope yours goes through quickly and you hear soon - keep us posted!

I applied on January 21 at Nova Scotia, when should I expect my first reply from CIC?

Have you checked E-CAS ? usually it takes a month or a little less.
you should use receipt nr. ..and sponsors birthday and sponsors country.
I applied to Mississauga, so I don´t know about Nova Scotia.

Hey guys,

I just checked my status on ecas, it is finally appearing on there now!
I sent my application in on Jan 20th, they received it on Jan 22nd and they started processing on Feb 19th,
so looks like they are processing applications which are after Jan 19th in mississauga.

So my e-cas says decision made, and now I'm just waiting for the letter... which was
sent on Feb 19th.

*crossing fingers* I hope it's good news.

Congrats ambar, I have also just had news today that there was a decision made on my sponsorship application. My application arrived at Mississauga on Jan.27th and it was processed on Feb.22nd. Now just waiting for the letter to arrive...

Also found out today that my daughters sponsorship application was approved Jan 21st and already sent off for the next step of the application. We were getting worried as she had sent it on Dec 31st and had not heard anything. CIC called her to let her know. It still doesnt show on ECAS and she hasn't received a letter that they said was sent, but yippee - it is good to know that it isn't lost somewhere.
