Hi COMPUTER:

My husband and I are 4 days behind you, and he hasn't received anything by mail yet.
I'm not fearing anything until we receive some kind of correspondence. My husband hasn't checked
online because we're waiting for a number. I will post any updates. He is in Canada, I'm in U.S.A.
Thanks for everyone's collective hope and support here. We all only worry because we want to be
accepted for the true couples we are and patience is a difficult virtue to keep in this case. Keep up
communication as a couple and try your best, that's all you can do.

-Mrs. Missing you can log in ecas with you receipt number just be shure to choose the right options in each one of the boxes and chose receipt number as id.. oh .. and also to put the Sponsor info the questions asked there
in my case they updated my ecas before we got the letter

Really? Shoot, I didn't know that. Thanks for the info. I'll see if my husband will go check it out. He says "oh honey, don't worry - this is gonna
take a while, just wait for the letter, it's okay" but I'm looking for a light at the end of the long tunnel, even if it's far away.
Has anyone on the forum had negative consequences for checking e-cas often? Just wondering. Thanks again.

Hey Mrs. Missing Mr.
CIC has nothing to do with how many times u check ur status on E-CAS. Its upto u whenver u want to check. Its same like how many times u check ur bank account online and they don't care.

My E-CAS has not changed yet and its still showing application: IN-PROCESS as of Jan.22, 2010.
I am worried how long it will take and what can be the possible reason? Thanks

My husband received the first stage approval letter today to sponsor me. It's the simplest part of the process, but I'm happy.
