We are sending ours on Friday, I can't wait! Sooo nervous though!!! I am a Canadian living in the UK with my British husband! I have lived over here for 2 years, we have been together for 4 years and married for 7 months. No children yet, so should hopefully be straightforward! I am also a registered nurse in Canada, so my wages won't be a problem, and no criminal convictions, husband has a degree and job offer already!!! Fingers crossed!!!! x

Hey Fstone my husband is registered nurse in Canada too.. jeje... by the way nice job.... he works in vancouver.... my case is like your and is already approved so .... just wait the timing.. i know is not nice.. but is worth it

Hi I mailed my wife sponsorship application to CPC-Mississauga on Dec.30, 2009 through Canada Post Priority Courier and they received on Jan.4, 2010. I checked my application status online but still not showing anything. Anybody with the same time frame please reply. Thanks

Note: She is in India.

So how long it will take to change to decision made?

Can they make a decision in one day? Is this good news? I'm am so freaking anxious.

My application time frames are same as yours but my status showing that they started processing my application on Jan.22, 2010 and In-process. They did not write anything about the letter. One of my friend told me that they normally take 4-5 days after they start processing. Please update when u actually receive letter from CIC-Mississaauga or anybody know how long it will take? Thanks

They got ours on January 8th so hopefully we might hear soon too!

Could you please let us know what information did you use to check - receipt no ? and last name/date of borth details of the sponsor ? or the person being sponsored ?

I just used my receipt # and my last name/ D.O.B and where I was born. Since I am the sponsor, I just assumed that I would put my information because this is the first stage (sponsorship).

Started processing on Jan.22, 2010.
1. Can anybody answer how long it will take to decision made?
2. As i read other threads and they say they send the letter same day when they start processing and so why they did not send the letter in same day in my case?
3. What can be the possible reasons?
4. Is that means application will be refused?
I am so so so worried. Anybody answer ASAP please???????????
