Pre-Assessed..
We sent our application on January 2nd 2010!

Best of luck! May the new year treat you well! I sent mine off in October and cannot wait to have it come through!

good luck with your application, srcc! :)

Thank you : )

Good luck for both of you! And a Happy New Year!

Hi srcc,
Best wishes to my fellow New Year applicants (and everyone else too)! :)
Our application arrived on January 8, 2010.
It looks like it takes a couple weeks to receive a response.
Time goes by so slowly when you're away from home.

I am looking forward to this journey, as well as your stories.
Thanks in advance for your support or responses to my future questions, hehe.

*bump* Anyone else sending this month?
....didn't want this thread to get buried too quickly.

Hi mrsmissingmr!

I wish you all the best!

It looks like it's just us :|

I will continue to write if I have news, so the thread won't be buried that quickly ; )

I sent our application yesterday and was recieved in Mississauga today - sent usign UPS to the courier address. Let's hope for the best from this point on.

Thanks,
A.

My package was received today,12.01.2010 as i checked Canadapost.ca and used tracking code they gave me. I was even able to see the signiture of the person who accepted my immigration papers PACKAGE. It weight like 2,3 kilos :P. I was so paranoid before actually sendng it..plus after sending i though i did something wrong e.t.c :P

Now all I can do is wait......................

Oh! I've been so looking forward to this thread for months now... unfortunately my application is still in process. Just waiting on the FBI certificate. If I recieve that with flying colors by the end of January, expect some posts! If not... *sigh* February :(

Good luck everyone!

srcc, we have buddies, hehe. Best wishes, abgaur and simpson. I'm rooting for you, nyssa.

My husband got a call from CPC-M to confirm some information from the sponsor portion of the application.
Whatever confusion was corrected, and our application will be moved forward for processing.

No letter yet. The snail is crawling.

Hi there everyone!

I'm new to posting but have been lurking while my husband and I have been putting together our application - it's an incredibly helpful forum here!!

We are applying outland through London, UK - I am a dual UK/Canadian citizen and sponsoring my husband (UK citizen) to move back to Canada with me. We've been married for over two years and lived together for 2 and a half before that so are hoping our application will be relatively straight forward (eek! fingers crossed!).

We sent our application 4 Jan and according to the track and trace mail system Mississauga received it 8 Jan. There is still nothing showing up when we try to log on the cic website to check our status - is this normal? Is everyone else not having anything show up yet?

It's so nerve-wracking already!! Good luck to everyone!!! :)

Yes, it is normal. It will show up when they start processing your application. For us, it took about 3 weeks to show up on e-Cas.

Thanks for that, I appreciate your reply! That's put my mind at rest a little. I'm sure it won't stop me from compulsively checking the website, though! :D
