Ugh so frustrating! Our DMP didn't give my husband the 'green' copy 2 form that we were supposed to mail in with our application. When we went in to get it the receptionist had no clue what we were talking about and the doctor is never available. Finally we got a message relayed from the doc to the receptionist that said there was no Copy 2 and that my husband would have to do the physical again (and pay again!) but hew as on vacation until August. So while my husband was visiting a couple of weeks ago he did it again with another DMP and now I have the Copy 2 to mail in. I figured I should wait until they opened our file to send it.

I never received a green copy 2 either and my doctor's office didn't know anything about it either. When I was checking the list to make sure I had everything, I freaked out and called CIC to ask their advice. They said that the two receipts I had from the medical that were stamped with the Doctor's address was acceptable as well. Of course, I'm still wondering if that is true, but my application has been going smoothly so far with no requests for medicals.

The first DMP did your Husbands medicals for an Inland Application!! ??? I would have demanded a refund as the form your Husbands form he took in from the application kit CLEARLY states for an OUTLAND application! Yes I would wait until the application is opened before sending the Green form! Otherwise it will get lost and CIC wont be able to find the medical in Ottawa!

I was told that the Green form is a must!! The receipt is not enough..as it doesnt have all of your details on it..such as date of birth which visa office you applied through etc..they need the green form to find your medical in Ottawa!

Yeah I was super paranoid about it so I just got him to do it again. More money down the drain but its for a good cause and peace of mind. The DMP's receptionist actually gave us a photocopy of the ENTIRE physical results, which I understand is bad because the applicant isn't supposed to know the results of the physical. Hopefully the whole thing doesn't botch our application.

These DMPs are paid by the government to do this job.. I just can't believe they could mess up something so important. Our DMP was even a Member of Provincial Parliament so we assumed he would grasp the importance of doing this right.

As you have seen the results of the first Medical its now Void!! Good job you had him do it again!

I'm still paranoid that they won't get it or that it will mess up our whole application ???

This whole thing makes me crazy.. I'm so glad to have this forum to check up on things! I'm sure it made my application so much better than it would have been without it.

Do you think I should mail the Copy 2 to Mississauga or to Buffalo? Will it make it to Mississauga before the file is sent to Buffalo?

wait until you get your AOR from buffalo, they'll have special barcode stickers to place on the envelope to make sure it gets to the right place!

ugh! cue me running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to figure what I can do at this point.

I've emailed Buffalo, called CIC (said they can't do anything since its already in Buffalo's hands) and faxed an inquiry to Ottawa RMC. Now its a waiting game to find out if they can locate my medicals. arrrrrrrghhhh. I love it when you call for advice from CIC and they tell you everything fine when it isn't.

Hello,
I got complete package return from CPC Mississauga dated July 16, 2010 with following reasoning
• To complete IMM1344A # 6 b and c of the ‘application to sponsor and undertaking’.
• As we completely forgot to check box earlier.

My wife she is in USA for about 7month. She is a graduate student in USA.
Now I will have to check box # 6 b and c and 7 of the application to sponsor and undertaking. In that case me wife PR application will be forwarded to New Delhi, India for further processing of her PR not a Buffalo, NY office.

“Effective May 1, 2003 Applications for PR must be processed by the visa office responsible for the applicant's country of nationality, OR the country where the applicant has been lawfully admitted for at least one year, OR in the case of applicant who is stateless, the country of habitual residence”

6 a) Address where the person you are sponsoring lives: My wife address of USA.
b) If you are sponsoring a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class, don
not complete b) and c); proceed to 7 immediately,

We are checking [NO] now>the application will be processed at the visa office responsible for the country of which the person you are sponsoring is a national. Proceed to 7.

c) Do you wish to have the application for permanent residence of the person you are sponsoring processed at the visa office responsible for this country?

We are checking [No] now > the application will be processed at the visa office responsible for the country of which the person you are sponsoring is a national.

7. Mailing address, if different from address in 6. a).
Not Applicable.

On response letter from CPC Mississauga, it also mention “If option b and c applies to your relative, you relative should be prepared to provide proof of their legal residence to the visa office otherwise processing delay may occur”

I am providing my wife legal English translated copy of back home Citizenship card; hope this take cares of above coded section. Folks any suggestion for alternative document to back this section like copy of birth certificate or copy passport.

QUESTION>>> Are we missing anything on above 6 a, b, c and 7?

QUESTION >>>Does anyone in thread knows, CPC Mississauga take 30-42 days again to get sponsorship approval response? or it can be quick.

Note that CPC Mississauga has attached Client #, PA ID no., Receipts no. (Application to sponsor and undertaking)

• my wife did medical on June 18, 2010. By now medical result must have reached to Buffalo, NY office (we selected Buffalo, NY processing center).

QUESTION>>>Can we ask Buffalo, NY office to transfer medical result to New Delhi, India now and what should we write to Buffalo, NY office?

Any response on above is greatly appreciated.

Good luck to all and keep updating this thread.

Thanks!

No news for me either, although apparently we are "in process" - Mississauga got our app on 23rd June and they are now processing up to 24th. Nothing in the post today of course. C'mon c'mon! Bounces....

I'm going to keep busy today by cleaning the house, hanging new curtains and taking up another new hobby... honestly, this process would be easier if we were allowed to work!

Good luck all, stay positive....

eCAS status was finally updated today to "In Process" in London starting July 20. Will the AOR be coming to me in Canada or to my BF in England? If it's going to BF then the mail sure is taking its sweet @$$ time since it's been a week now and still nothing.

Now I just have to hope for a quick processing time in London, and that they won't need a Canadian police check from us, since my BF spent a year in Canada working and living with me before we began this whole process.
