Nice!!!! ;D You are about 3 weeks ahead of me!

Althought I am still waiting for my FBI certificate so maybe its going to delay the process?? Hmmm...

I am guessing your spouse is Sponsoring you?? If thats the case CIC may not be bothered that your FBI cert is not in there..the background check is on the sponsor not applicant at this stage...but Must be in there for the applicant part if you are the applicant

Yes my husband is sponsoring me. :) It has been 4 weeks since we sent off our 2nd and 3rd sets of prints so hopefully within 3-4weeks we will hear from the FBI. I hope I will be able to send it before they need it.

So...once you can check your status on ECAS, would you be able to know your ID number?? I wonder when they will tell us. I want to know if I should use my receipt number or we should wait til we get our ID number.

I was able to check E-CAS by using my Husbands Info..Date of Birth, country of birth and surname...and the receipt number..when you receive the letter from CPC-M it will contain your Husbands Client Id number..you will receive a separate Client Id number when your application is processed. Unless like me you already have one from having a Visa/Visitors Record in Canada

Congrats britincanada! Your application was processed so quickly, I'm jealous! Our application arrived in Mississauga on June 7, so hopefully our eCAS will be updated next week, or the week after that at the latest. One question, are you the sponsor or the one being sponsored? We are going through London as well :)

I am hoping mine in next couple of days or may be next week, I am not able to log onto e-cas though as yet. A quick question, the info needed to logon e-cas is of applicant or sposnor, i tried putting both but no luck

z4s: You use Sponsors details..don't worry they probably just have not got to you yet..you wont be able to login until they have made a decision..We gave extra documents to prove Tim is not bankrupt (he was but has certificate of discharge) or in default of Child support payments I think this may have helped with our quick processing time!

woot woot! thats awesome!

hey CONGRATS britincanada .. ALL D BEST for ur 2nd stage approval too ..

got some good hopes on processing times on seeing ur timeline ...

expecting mine by end of this month .. so tensed i am ..

ONE QUICK QUESTION .... my husband is sponsoring me n he is a PR .. he might have a business visit to India in another couple of wks which will not be more than 6-7days .. is that advisable to leave country while our appl'n is inprogress ?? i read somewhere stating tht it is not advisable for PRs to leave country during sponsorship process ...

SOMEONE PLS ANSWER TO THIS ....

Thanks in advance and wishing GOOD LUCK to all June2010 applicants ....

Thank you chinthu, I think our fast processing time maybe a lot to do with the fact that we paid our fees on 10th May, so by the time our application was received on 1st June the fees had almost been processed..it takes 4-6 weeks to process your fees!! ::)

I am sure it wont go against you if your husband travels to India..Sponsors that are PR's have to be residing in Canada throughout the whole process..however it doesnt mean they cant go on vacation or travel for business! He just cant reside in India!

Thanks for ur quicl reply mrs.britincanada ...

we paid our fees just 4-5 days before d day our application reached CPC .. anyways looking forward for a +ve result soon ...
he is not coming on vaccation .. this is his business visit .. so lets see .. lets postpone his travel plan atleast till getting 1st level approval ...

once again thank u hearty wishes ....

Chinthu: If your husband can postpone his trip for a few weeks then I would do so just to be safe! But there is no reason I cant leave Canada for a short trip!
