I bet you will hear something soon. I think you get your PR before me since I have not heard anything about what happened to the FBI certificate after sending to Buffalo. I put my e-mail on application but didn't expect to hear from Detroit.

Congratulations! Makes me wonder what happened to our file. No updates but I know they got my e-mail about changing address to a Canadian Address. I think you are almost there! Wish you a speedy processing

hehe I was hoping my file was going to stay in Buffalo since I go thru there (well Niagara but not too far from Buffalo)..but Detroit is our next closest location compared to NYC.

Congrats to everyone!

I kind of hope that our file is transferred to Detroit now! Detroit is the border my husband crosses at most frequently, anyway.

Congrats Raucy I applied 11 days before you and I am yet to even receive an AOR.
The Sydney office really is worth the pay they get from our fees.
but Kingston Jamaica on the other hand, is really taking their time to have a barbeque, with our files sitting on a top shelf somewhere gathering dust.

Hope you get your passport back quickly so you'll be in canada before Christmas.

I am really hoping! A bit worried about my husband's medical coz it was sent to Mississauga (our mistake) but have not heard anything since "in process" and rec'd AOR.

Jancanth I'm sure its ok, CIC actually asks that meds and police checks are sent in with the forms.
it just means you wont have a request to do them, which is good cos it can add up to 3 months on your processing time, everytime they have to ask you for something.

dont worry if they need anything else at this stage they will contact you.

ouhhh im going nuts,,,my application has been sent to Mississauga on june,and still nothing,and no updates,,,i really dont know or understand what is going on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
my wife(the sponsor) called several times to ask about it,and all what they can say,is that they could see it received but they dont know anything about it,,,,
she sent an e-mail to her MB and we are waiting to hear from him,,,but she deosnt think he would do something,,,,i dont know what to do,,,,
it really drives me nuts,,,,it's been 3 months now and still nothing,,,,they didn't tel us,they we got approved,or refused,or the application got retuned,,,,it's strange
please,,,any suggestions my friends
im from morocco,,,and my wife is from newfoundland
i would apreciate your help

no i can't log in to eCAS,,,i dont know why?my wife has given me the number,and i tried it many times,and nothing,,it keeps saying something must be wrong,,,,

so today we got a letter from Buffalo requesting an RCMP fingerprint check.. maybe because he went to school in Montreal for a semester? Hopefully it doesn't slow down our process too much as we will have to wait until his next visit to get them done

yeah dont worry jancath. almost everyone goes through the worrying part and all. it will all go through in time for now we just wait and pray. i hope you get a response from them soon

I am guessing every is sat in Limbo right now waiting? I emailed CHC-London to check on my passport...Canada Post was supposed to get a signature..however the tracking number only shows my passport arrived in England and not at the High Commission in London!! Lets see what I get first..my passport or and email from London lol...they will have had it 3 weeks on Wednesday! I am hoping to get it about 29th Sept..next week!

yes...Im feeling the limbo, but have hope for the, "No Interview" letter this week. Or the transfer email, or something from tracker, etc. Im packing already, and glad for it, cuz had no idea it was going to be so much work.... packing up has given me some motivation and hope as well.
