relax chinthu. its the same medicals. once ur sponsorship is approved, the file will get transfered to delhi. with the copy 2 u have sent, they will call for the medical results from the doctor u had an appointment with. so u did it right.

and i saw ur post in the july thread also. i too didnt sign behind my pic. i dont remember any such rule in the application. i wud seriously ask u to relax. things will go smoothly.

congrats prasu...when i saw shika and samrupl updates i thought u would also get ur visa soon....i am just hoping ND will start processing my baby's file soon...this tuesday isnt lucky for me my ECAS still shows "not available" under pr status...i was wondering how long will ND take to start processing after receiving from CPC....its been 20 DAYS BUT STILL :'( :'( :'(......

just got an email from the Cairo Embassy. The told me my file number, however, they stated "Further Medical examination" required. What could this mean? i've had a clean health record my entire life (thank god).

After a bit of drama i.e. send the package via DHL, arrived home and saw the photo's lying on the table, rushed back and sorted this out...
So finally, it's on it's way to Mississauga. Now the wait begins

...

So I checked my email and got a bit of a shock. Wait for it...

They are asking for my passport to issue my visa (5-10 working days).
No interview, no extra medical and only 4 months after sending in the app. 8)

I was skeptical (some spam mail made it through my email filters) as I was only expecting something after another 5 - 6 months but I went to the high commission anyway to hand in my passport which they accepted. So now the wife and I will have to do some serious rethinking of our plans....

I saw your post on the buffalo thread and went to check mine. It says "in process" for me too!!!! Says they got my app on 7/12 and they have my medical results. Man I am so excited!!

Today for the first time I can log onto e-cas, awesome feeling to read "IN PROCESS" finally! Took almost 2 months from sponsorship approval to get in process on e-cas...ugh...felt like a life time!

I filed April 22nd, so not quite 2 months but felt like 6 during the wait!

I just got my AOR from Buffalo in the mail today
Feels so much better to know that I'm in their system and have a file number to reference! Next step: Passport Request!!! (I hope)
