Been a lurker for a while, So thought I should join in while I wait for good news too.

I have applied as a sponsor for my wife who is in India.
Sent the application to the Mississauga office on June 10th
Hoping to hear something regarding sponsorship approval in the next few days.

My concern atm is that we did not send her medicals along with the app as she was out of India on work, she has done the medicals now, but I guess we need to wait for a file number before sending it. Hope the dont reject the application because medicals are not included.

Hey plz join the June thread so that we can compare and crib who's gotten there faster ;D Nah, just kidding...the June thread's here: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/june-2011-t74210.0.html :)

Early in 2011 they were sending the PP with Visa after interview within 2-3 weeks, in most cases less than 10 days.
But..these days they seem to hold on to it even after the interview...seen a few members go through this after interview for 1,2 & 3 months..

All you can do is hope for the best, since they have returned your email they might update the status on ecas.
Unfortunately you can not do anything else other than email them.

If your file is close to 6 months in ND ( From the approval date in CPC Miss ) you can go in person and it might help.

Hello everyone,

I checked my VISA and it says immigrant single entry. so it means it has single entry.

A COPR can be used for land borders, not usually for commercial air travel.

You can carry it with you (it is normally fixed inside your passport when you land), but a passport and a COPR will not get you on to an aircraft.

You need to provide the information detailed below.

*Given Name:

*Date of Birth:

*Nationality:

in my point of view, u have to wait until ur get ur PR...then u can make as many trips to India...but the enter is only single and is one time....

It is easier to wait for the PR card, but not everyone can wait that long :)
