CAN I ASK U WHZ THE DATE ON UR ECASE THT THEY START PROCESSING UR FILE?

plz dont mind me saying this but i have observed it personally. when it goes to in process, it means that they work on the file. when you click on In Process it will show as follows:

We started processing application on ---(date)

It may say medical results have been received.

Baki god knows....... what ND actually do.....

Hi bc_karan/Girmi,

Its been 3 months since they have received my passport.I had visited CHC ND a couple of weeks ago and they said you will receive your passport in 7-10 days but that did not happen.Maybe in my case its taking longer because I had multiple visits to Netherlands.

that could probably be the scenario because they might have to do to he bg checks....

its 8th June and they asked for my old passport which was delivered on 20th June

Hi nddec,

You can go to the visa section and they will give you a form to fill where you have to fill in your File No, Passport No, Name , Query etc.You will have to submit the form and they will call you after few mins and then you can ask your questions.
They did not ask for any docs but I took my PPR and identity docs with me.

I reached there at 11:00am and I had to wait only for 15-20 mins.It was quick.

i'm also thinking of visiting the Canadian consulate in Delhi on Thursday. Can u tell me how to go about it once i reach there?? Did they let u in? If not, how did u manage to spk to the officer?
Would appreciate a reply so i can prepare accordingly. Also should i carry anything with me??

I know it sucks big time.Well I have emailed them yesterday and next week my husband is gonna visit the MP.My in-laws are from Delhi and I stay with them but currently I am in Mumbai at my parents' place.So I can not visit them again in next couple of days.

Just FYI to this experience...every user experience would vary...
most of the times you could expect to meet rude people who just send you home and ask you to check Ecas.
I have seen so many ppl travel to Delhi only to be sent back and check ecas..
Unless your file is near 6 months in ND, i would suggest avoid a personal visit as you could get the same reply from there.

I got a call from MP office and now she has a different story. She is saying that even though there is a note for additional documents but they never sent & nothing is pending in our application. She is suggesting me to wait till end of july and contact again. We sent 3 faxes to ND and 4 CSE, No response at all. I don't know what to do next.

End of July is too late, these idiots have no respect for couples.

You should really ask her to go in person to CHC ND and give them a piece of your mind as your application is close to 6 months, am i right?

Fully agree with Fprince's advice. You should visit CHC-New Delhi in person. There is a high probability that you will meet a rude person at the security, but explain that
a) your MP was unable to give a accurate information after 3 attempts
b) it's month #7 after the file was forwarded from CPC-Mississauga
c) MP adviced that you have been sent a letter, but you have not received anything.

Above 3 points should be good enough for them to allow an in-person meeting. Be polite when explaining this stuff as there is no other appropriate way to convince a idiot.
