seems like your info is correct, unless I'm over looking something, but I now included April 29 as RX date for the PPR.

You should update my status....the letter for PPR was dated April.18....but he recieved it on april.29 and was recieved at new delhi on May.2....been one week so far..lets hope for the best

Thanks everyone for the wishes, it was a great day yesterday, in fact the best day of the year

To be honest, I did not expect ND to approve us this fast, especially after the dragging they did earlier with our PPR. This was such a nice surprise.

I've now got the tickets booked too. I'm so glad the deals are still on for end May and the price hasn't skyrocketed, although the one way for my wife is a little expensive as we are returning in early June. But still, overall I paid the same amount altogether that I would have had to pay just for myself had I gone in July

Now I hope my wife gets the Passport back with visa soon, before I get on that plane to India.

Hey BA has some really cheap prices... one way on certain days are abt 730CAD, i found that the cheapest was this, i mean with the lest number of stopovers...also depending on the city of departure...
just FYI.. hope to c ur post with PPR soon!!

I'm flying KLM, Calgary - Delhi, Depart May 21, Return Jun 5. My return ticket was $1380 and my wife's one way $1025. I could have booked online and saved $50 overall, but chose to use an agent instead. I also considered flying BA as their one way for my wife was cheaper, but then my return ticket with BA costed more, making the total cost similar. At the end KLM won.

Registered Post is Normal Letter Post that can be traced by IPS if requested. Can take upto a couple of weeks to be delivered. Same as Registered Post in Canada.

Speed Post is a fast service, with tracking number, generally delivered in 2-3 days. Similar to Xpresspost in Canada.

ppl mentioned that the RP needs to be signed to receive it? is this right..and does it also mean the applicant has no clue when it is mailed nor get a tracking number.
