@ nb8285:I would say to keep those document in ur hand and only provide if they ask for more documents/proof. Also if you think u haven't provided enough proof or documents, then you can submit to them with the cover letter, sponsor/applicants name, client id # and what is the document for & so on! All the best, btw can I know your timeline plssss and thanks... !!

it just say application received.......no updates..........................................delhi is under staff to update ecas..so dont go by ecas...........they are working on files and I bet challenger and lama21 you both will receive ppr letter within a week or so............. ;D

I just landed safely today.. yah it was soooooo cold My husband had brought in jacket to the airport, so it was good.. yah was so happy to see him I wish every1 in this forum all the very best to join with ur spouses very soon

Hello all!

Quick Question- have any of you preemptively sent additional marriage supporting documents (i.e. without CHC ND asking for it) such as phone logs since application was sent...?

Do you guys think it will be a problem if I send this to ND without them asking for it?

Any opinions?

i would suggest not to send anything additional to chc nd until untless they have asked for more...

Does the sponser & applicant have separate client ids ??

yes they both have diffent client ID/file number.

Client ID is issued to sponsor by CPC-M and file no. is issued to applicant by visa office.

i totally agree with you....sometimes it likes lots of updates in one day and sometimes like not even one in few months....



yea...we still have time....there might be still some ppl sitting in the embassy and doing some updates....lets hope that we see the light at the end of day here in canada

Air India was good, food was ok.. except for the long 15hr travel.. ask for security and emmigration, since I got the boarding pass n checked in my luggage in chennai itself, I had to go thru a separate queue.. it was so free.. no rush at all, since it was onward journey N delhi airport is sooooooooo cooooooool!!

So, i received a reply for the email my wife sent them 2 weeks ago..good thing is they gave her a file number which starts with F. Now i have a file number and i can login and see that the application is in process.

This is how their standard cut,copy, paste email reads.
