If your documents are in order and they are satisfied with the current application the chances of calling CIC are very slim.
I didnt got any calls or emails from anywhere.

hey your ppr did you get it in on feb 25 in the mail, or was that the date on the Letter
and did it show on ECAS online

It was dated January 25th and I received it on January 31st. It was not on ECas, his interview date was on Ecas, I think around Feb 25 or something, but he hasn't received a letter yet about it (Its on the 30th of March).

Hey Guys,

Has the Consulate called any of the Sponsors after the sponsor is being approved and before the final approval of the spouse ? Also have they called to your work in Canada ?
Thanks

Usually the don't, they called one of my friends..cos he went and stayed in india for a month after his marriage due to his fathers death and then he came back to canada and applied..so they called him to ask him why he went to india for the 2nd time...
usually they DO NOT CALL sponsors, your job is done once the application leaves to ND.then its ND vs your spouse.

My husband received his interview letter today. It was quite long but very detailed. So interview is scheduled for March 30th, @ 9:30am. It tells him to make sure I am available by telephone at the same time or if Im in India for me to go with him. It does say I may not be interviewed at all.

I have seen ppl send it through all 3 options you mentioned, it does not really matter as long as you have a tracking number ..

yes you can.make sure u provide the name and date of birth.
they can associate it to your file without file number.

Thanks, i am fed up..its gonna be 4 months since i filed and i still don have a PPR..ppl who applied in 2011 are getting visa's..i am thinking my file is sitting somewhere in ND or the PPR letter was lost in transit..hard to guess, but ND seems to be moving this week..
so should i just give them my dob and last name and my wife's details?
all i have for now is my client ID.

i guess ur wife should be making a CSE. you might not be authorized to get answers. use your wife's DOB and details.

Hi Fprince,

for CSE , you can do with your client id.
apart from that you need togive your wife's given name , family name(surname), D.O.B .
And on message part , you can also give her passport number too.
here is link to CSE form.

And even you can write them email, you can get response .
here is their email id .

Thanx.

Yess Fprince, your wife should make CSE or email.
if you had lawyer representing you, then he is authorised to make CSE or email

I am thinking that I should do a CSE too. My wife sent out passport almost a month and half ago. Tracking number was provided and it was delivered. I am not sure where is it stuck now. Thanks for the links - Any suggestions on what should I use CSE or email?
