This pain of wait will be gone in a second when we see our spouse in Canada, so just hang on Folks.I am pretty sure ND is going to issue visas faster in the 1st quarter of this year.
You will get the Visa on the day when you will be least expecting it and your spouse will call in the middle of one night telling you that he/she got the shiny visa, at that time your pain of wait will be healed.

Thanks Missinghim. But these 3+ or 4months are for us!! It doesnt matter to ND. They dont give a damn, hw much ever older the file is!!!!

Well guys my wait at the VO has just begun and im going bk to india already..had enough...lol but not for good ...just to pass time...5 mths time... I figure let VO do their stuff while i go back n havefun w/ hubby n kids.. & we r going back to Goa....i need a break n i hoping within 5 mths while im gone they'll wrap up his file there. IT'll be nice if he gets the good news while im there. is that wishful thinking lol 80% of cases r resolved in 6 mths they say! Hey 1 Q: after ur file was sent to VO when did u hear frm them the earliest. i know they dont send aors.=(

Yeah they dont send AOR. Previously delhi used to send PPR within 2 to 3weeks of sponsorship approval. Now that it has become soooooooooooo lazy, they have increased the timeframe to 2 and half/3months!!!
enjoy and have fun with ur kids and husband )) All the best, sure ur husband will get ur visa in these 5months .. for sure!!

True Sanyrog...they dont care..i bet they sit around saying well this guy / gal has been waiting 4 mths now...lets make him wait anoher 2 then we'll be meeting our 6 mth standard...!!!!!
They should ask ppl for their opinions...after ppl have got their pp w/ visa stamp..how they feel about the wait etc...they need to improve service. A 3rd party should access i agree an immigration firm like someone mentioned.

They should ask ppl for their opinions...after ppl have got their pp w/ visa stamp..how they feel about the wait etc...they need to improve service. A 3rd party should access i agree an immigration firm like someone mentioned.

Yeah missinghim. They are actually gonna wait for 6months to issue visa I guess, even if they get all other info!!! They r not bothered to get any response from us, they have the full authority to take hw much ever time they want!! Full freedom!!!

I applied for Family class sponsorship on Dec 15th and got a mail for passports on 21st Dec and they received it on 31st .
still now no answer.... how to contact them at New Delhi ..we tried mails already and my husband called the call center and they are asking to reach New Delhi only and am trying to check online with the file no mentioned on the letter.. but it says no info.

please help

U submitted ur appln itself on Dec 15th? Where, st to ND? we ve to submit to CPC-Missisauga and they ve to forward it to ND if its regular outland PR. what is it ur applying?

Can u also pls paste ur passport request letter content here?

They asked for Payment receipt & PCC if not submitted earlier along with original pps of mine n my baby's ..but my husband has submitted entire documents including medicals & pcc already.

They mentioned that it is not a guarantee of a visa they are juz collecting it thats all.. no news

Sponsorship approval recvd: 7th dec
got this letter from New Delhi : 21st dec
They recvd the PPs on 31st dec
