JASSI has the same timeline as mine and urs:

App. filed: May 12th
Sponsor Approved: June 18th
PPR: July 20th
eCAS Decision Made: Aug 10th

i m worried now......why our's taking so long?
can u plz guide me how can i send a case specific enquiry?i mean the email address and what information we have to tell about myself.like FILE NO.,DOB NAME etc or something else too.thanks

I think its better to wait for now! There are so many other ppl. like us who are in the queue. Im going to wait till the end of the month. As per CIC statistics, CHC-DELHI processes 50% of cases in 3 months (Processing time starts when file is transferred). And every case is unique assigned to different IO's with their own style of working!

There are 2 ways to contact them:

Like you said, state your Name, File# & D.O.B. They will identify you with these details. Good Luck! Very imp. to be patient

I think i should wait atleast till next tuesday.I m trying to be patient but I have to admit that it is the most toughest and stressful period in whole process when you know you are one step away from your partner.....

BTW, kindly share ur timeline in ur signature so dat others can refer it....

@xyrus,do u know d date on which CHC received jassi's PP....coz we could just know the no. of days from there till ECAS update....

jassi had sponsorship approval on june 18th ,me on june 22nd(3 days behind)...but jassi got PPR on july 15 me on july 30th...
my timeline is getting dragged more i suppose.... :'(

Ur PPR was delivered to you very late thanks to Indian Postal Service! Mine was delivered 2 weeks later too! My PPR letter was dated July 8th but delivered to me on July 21st! Jassi's PP was sent around July 20th so i'm guessing it would take no more than 2-3 days to deliver to CHC, either by speed post or courier.

Don't worry, we all are sailing in the same boat! Good Luck!

here's a question for all the applicants who got PPR in last month.how much time limit was granted to submit your passport as
i have read some posts stating that CHC gives 30 to 60 days depending upon the distance from CHC.In my PPR it was stated that send
the passport as soon as possible.no specific time was granted.reply plzzzzzzzzzzzz.

@ Dilneet - did u travel broad??? Ive spent 8+ yrs in Canada, do u think that will delay, i hope it should not considering its Canada???

no,i have never traveled abroad.
as i have learnt from this forum so far, background checks takes time if you have travelled abroad.but as you say its canada
they might not go so deep into backgrounds.finally i can say its a game of luck too.....
you never know it may be positive point for you.just hope good and wait.........all the best......

ANYONE else? thoughts on trvalled to CAnada, can that add time or would it be quicker since it canada?
