IN PROCESS !!! FINALLY !!! HOW LONG HAS IT BEEN TAKING FROM IN PROCESS TO DM LATELY ?????

Great news balibali. Congratulations. Lately ND have been really fast changing the status from in process to DM (less than week and for some it took 2-3 days). Really hope it will be very fast for you as well.

Thank you guys,
@ mukul: I think it takes between 4 to 10 business days to get via the registered post, depending on the location.

Does the status say PP has been dispatched??

If your anxiety will be satisfied or reduced by knowing something-about what is happening your case then you may consider getting CAIPS notes.
I think that is the last point any one get to "knowing" what is happening to thier case.

Other than that you do not have much (some one can suggest better) to do except send emails, contact MP, send fax. There is still some seats left in our boat. You can join us in this journey

Thanks for all this info. I've tried all these avenues, but no luck :( i just feel so helpless.. waiting since June. no interview, no request for addittional info. they asked for the pasporrt and just sitting on it. I'm trying my best to stay positive and wait...

Contact your MP...it does help.. and follow up with them if you already have contacted the MP office. They follow up your case with ND office on monthly bases after their initial contact with ND.

Can somebody help me please??

Hello All,

I sent my application to CPC-M on Aug 08 and my case was approved and transferred to ND on Oct 19. Then my wife's PP was requested on Nov 25 and we send it on Nov 30, which the ND office received on Dec 1. After that there was no communication from ND at all. Later on I sent the ND a mail and to which they replied that my wife's case is waiting for an interview and its been more than 2 weeks now and nothing.

Now my question, what will they ask in the interview? Is there a probability to reject her PR VISA after the interview. How should I be prepared for it.

Its the first marriage for both of us. she is 2 years younger to me. We are from the same community and same native place.

Could somebody help me please?

Hi KUKU,

Your time frame and mine are almost the same. For me it still shows Application Received only. My address has been disappeared for almost 4 weeks now.

Is there any other way that I can bring my wife to Canada? Could you help me out please?

thanks in advance

Hello ajith,
My wife is a Sep-29 Applicant. Our case is still in Application recived in ECAS
she sent a mail to CHC. They replied her case was awaiting initial review.

In my opinion it is too early for you to feel "apprehensive" there are still people here from July,August who got nothing.
So be cool. Any follow up action you do wait for 6 months to complete. Do not try before that it will be meaningless.

You see it all depends on case and some luck too. Your case seems to be straight forward.
But I observe that the processing time from PPR to DM was originally above 100 days and now coming to less than 100 days.

For your information I tried to bring my wife in TRV, I applied 4 times and rejected.

The only option for you to be is stay cool and wait.
