I think they probably don't have the time to change the status. Let's hope you get your PP back in a couple of days.

Can we apply for TRV, while our spouse's PR is in process. I guess, we can't. Your thoughts please?

I've applied for trv for a 3.5weeks xmas break and the embassy gave me my PR visa instead. I intend to land but come back,

1. will they mail me the pr card to my canadian address, the website says i have to apply for the pr card kit etc. And collect in person.
2. when they see my return ticket and ask how long i am staying, if i answer truthfully will they refrain from sending it to me?
3. Would i have problem applying for a travel document if they wouldnt issue me a pr card when i travel for permanent resettlement after tying all loose ends back home next year?

She applied PR and then TR surprisingly they decided to give her PR instead of TR.
I have been watching closely people who apply for TR during PR process. Some people have got it some dont.

In my Case I applied 2 times before PR app mailing 1 time after mailing with receipt
3 times rejected. Now we are going to apply 4th time after Sponsor approval.
I have a situation

heyy guys got reply from mp .. THAT ND ISSUED A LETTER DATED 1ST NOV 2011 ASKIG FOR SUPPLEMENTARY FORM FOR FOREIGN DETAILS BUT AS ND IS FUCKED I DIDNT GOT ANY LETTER.. THIS IS ABSURD.... NOW I M GOING TO SEND THAT ASAP......

BUT I M VERY SAD... IWAS VERY HOPEFUL TO PUT MY HANDS ON VISA NEXT MONTH ... BUT DUE TO OUR ND SCUMBAGS... THAT HOPE IS GONE......

HOW CAN THEY DO SUCH KIND OF THINGS... LETTERS DONT REACH APPLICANTS... THEY CHARGE 1K AS FEE AND THEY CANT SPEND LIKE 5 DOLARS TO SEND LETTERS IN A WAY SO THAT WE GET OUR LETTERS IN TIME.. WHOLE MONTH IS GONE...... .......

Please help me with the relevant information...

I got married around 1.5 years back..Me and my wife didn't change my status from Single to Married in passports. I applied for PR Canada under FSW category where my wife is also the co applicant as I wanted her points too to qualify with required points.

I sent Marriage Certificate as the proof of marriage.

My ecas shows RBVO. Now, if with gods grace I get medicals request or Passport request. Does it create any problems that time as both the passprts shows Single.

I also confirmed with the regional Passport office in New delhi for change of status. They told me, it will be treated as Re issuance of the passport with different passport number.

I dnt know wat to do???

mate i dont think this wud b a problem, u can attach marrige certificate as a prrof of ur marrige tht wud b enough......
