Hey all

As you all know that our landing fee was never updated on cpc-m system.so we faxed the receipt to CPC-M and CHC-ND on 9'sept.
yesterday my husband called CPC-M just to know whether this time they have received it or not ..
and they said..its not there..means dis time too..its not on their system.
what should i interpret from this.
Is it means that fax is not received by them or they just have not updated it on their system yet??
I am so confused about the system.like this they gonna take 2 months to confirm that to CHC-ND

Welcome to thread..
Generally you can get back your pp within 30-45 days if everything is ok.
you get it via registered mail

Thanks Aman... but 30 days are too much i want to meet my hubby soon My Passport reached Delhi VO on 2nd of September..I am expecting it back as early as possible

I am in same boat dear..I am dying to meet him..its 8 months i have not seen him...my passport is in embassy more then 4 months..
dis is because of missing some documents..dont wry..you well get ur pp back

Okkkiez.. They asked for documents after Passport request? Have they interviewed you or directly asked for documents? Hope all my documents are complete

Yes,they can ask the documents even after ppr.no they didnt inform me about that directly. my hubby called Mississauga then we came to know about that

do they update your ecas when they receive your passport? or they start processing it in vo?

hmmm......... dats right dear, im also dyng to meet my husband its been 6months....n this is for all girls plz dn't waste time to change sirname on ur passport.......its not complusory we just waste our best time in a life.....

no ..i have never heard about updating status regarding receiving of pps..

but yes they do update that they have started your process..

and even updates regarding your medical and interviews

Thanks RAV but i have already changed my surname before submitting my application and luckily it was very quick

me too dear but i wasted 2 months in changing surname on passport i applied in may but i can apply in march....so i wish not anyone have 2 wait more like me.........

Dont worry Aman... everything will be ok... half of there staff dont even know wat they are talkin about...I reckon it ll be good if u can visit CHC ND in person with receipt details...

And also if u do visit there... Dont walk out without an answer..argue back and you will get what u want at the end of the day...

Hopefully we all get visas soon..
