mate send them a req tht u need ur pp with proofs n they will send it back to u n will give u a date b4 tht u have to resubmit pp to them..hope it helped

I have a quick question.. was just wondering how long on an average does Delhi Office keeps your passport ? I mean what is the usual time period between passport request and visa issue ? I have heard that Delhi Office is very quick in requesting passport but they take their own time for issuing the visa.!!

m asking coz my wife will need passport as she is taking one exam.. so that we can plan accordingly..

No one can predict CHC ND VOs , Kindly check spread sheet maintained by gwalyat, with that you will get a clear picture. More over every case having its own complexities and issues and depend on the VO dealing our case files.

If you are case is simple and straight forward and comes in routine case, than you can expect visa within 45days-3 months after submission of PP.

Well you can request PP back via email or by case specific enquiry with the proper reasons and proof.

You will get the PP with re-submission date.
