Just to add as a citizen you can go and stay with spouse, you just have to have proof that you intend to return to Canada (ie a job, property etc something that ties you to this country). PRs dont have this option, short trips at best.

DNT You are a citizen, to nylalisa's point if you can show proof you should be ok.
I would still be careful and not delay the delayed case.
Why don you visit her and come back? or even better. why dont you fly there when she gets the visa and you can bring her here to land.

Thanks man, I guess 2 months is the MAX people wait for ND, cuz we are in the same boat as you are.. it has been just over 2 months since ND holding our file, and TODAY is the day my wife gave up hope.... I've told her it will happen very soon.. its just around the corner.. they are reading our email.. and typing the ltter for us.. you name it I've told her.. and she now breaks in a lot of tears because she can't handle the separation, I feel like ND is really opressing us. and I've heard the one who is opressed.. there is no veil between the opressed and God, and I believe that.. I will pray to God and ask him to tke us out of this opression by ND!

You're not missing anything... if I don't hear anything back from ND by 22nd of June.. I will book tickets and just stay in India until we've been approved! I'd hate to take this route as I want to keep my job, but for me FAMILY is first.. I work so I can take care of my family (wife.. and kids in future).. but for the one I want to do all the work is not here and is crying to be with me.. and I'm not there.. really hurts me.. hence the reasong I will fly on a day between June 22 and 29th..

Hi DNT2003, Im fairly new around here and I apologise if I say anything out of turn. Just wanted to throw in my two pence. I totally understand how your wife feels, but the fact of life is that nobody's going to give you happiness (or the visa) on a platter. Crying and giving up hope will only add to both of your stress levels. And besides, ND is not God! Why do you put them in a position to oppress you? Instead, tell her to enjoy this time, it will never come back! Inshallah you both have a full and happy life ahead of you. That's the beauty of marriage. But this time in her country will never come back. Once she goes there, it would be snatched vacations here and there to India. (I do not know your situation, hence Im speaking generally). Ask her to relive her childhood here, visit the places she always wanted to visit in her city, try different food that you dont get here, visit friends and relatives. Before she knows it, the visa would be her's inshallah

Thanks fprince for bringing up the topuc and Thanks nylalisa for your input, I shouldn't have trouble showing them ties to the country, specially if they ask for a job, I will talk to my employer and see if they can provide me with a letter stating I'm going for a leave of absent from work, and DNT2003 will have a job here when he comes back.. I will push for 6-8 weeks and see if the employer will comply.

I'd love to fly when I know she has the VISA, but the situation is getting harder.. I will see if I can convince her to stay calm, and strong for few weeks, and the wait will be over. I know fprince this wait is nothing like the wait you went through, but you can't clap with one hand... its maybe the weaker side of mine where I love her a lot and can't see her in tears.

No worries you are fairly new, but I'm glad you are posting and don't have to apologise for anything

I've told her samething about the VISA part, and she understands, but she thinks something is really wrong, because of things that are happening... (few things I'd keep confidential) only if ND had the guts to send me a PPR, I know it would have made my life easier, and my wife would have been more relaxed. ND is never GOD, I'd never put them in the position. maybe you miss-understood the part about opression.. Do you know the hadith of prophet more or less.. where he mentions / says there is no veil between God and the one who is oppressed.. so I was referring to CHC - New Delhi as being the OPRESSOR to all of us who are waiting to be united with our LOVE. I know we all do the prayers everyday, but this time I will keeep in mind that ND is really opressing me and pray to God.

I even tell her that God has created everything when the time is right, he created the sun, the moon, the sky, and he lets the vegetable grows when he wants it to grow, he sends the wind, he knows everything has its time, and he let everything happen on its time... so I tell her "He is making our VISA and he is taking his time because he knows when the time is right... he will send it to us."

Anyways I really appreciate your input, and all the motivations you've provided.... Inshallah the worry will end soooooon!

I am sorry to hear that but next time you try to contact them stress that file has been in Delhi for 7 Months and 6 days.

I feel your pain and the suffering you are going throuhg... sonyji did you send the CSE that fprince asked you to send and stress the part about 7 months? Also email them directly as well.

If not then its time YOU visit them in person like how divren went and they said everything is good.. blah blah.. 7-10 days and he'll get the PPT bak with visa..

Its time you personally visit them durnig the visitation hours.

A small update.I went to CHC ND today and enquired about my case.The person first asked me whether I had sent an email/fax and if I have received any reply.I told him that I had raised a CSE but did nt receive any reply.

Then he looked into my case and said that they have received everything that they wanted (PP,PCC,fees etc) and they do nt need any additional docs.He said that my case is clear/ok and it is just pending for final review.He added that it usually takes 4-6 months but in your case we do nt want to push it into 6th month as the case is clear and you can expect your PP with visa in 7-10 days.

I think all they wanted was a wake up call.

I just hope that it comes within 10 days.

good to hear that chc nd does reply to enquiries for in-person...or may be u were just very lucky....cuz usually what i have heard is that they do not respond to anyone in-person...


well...few more days and u will get the pp with visa

A question... my uncle called me the other day from India because he knows a family in which recently there have been a marriage.. and they needed to do the Medical.. so I gave him long time a go same number where I had my wife go.. "Seema Talati" was the name of DMP, but he called me and said the number is not valid ANYMORE.

I look up and find out that "SEEMA TALATI" is not listed on CICs website as DMP anymore?????????

Will this have any effect on my CASE? because my wife has had Seema Talati as her DMP from Ahmedabad?

We are already delayed.. and I'd HATE to see another delay because of NEW MEDICAL!
