Thread for applicants of NEW DELHI 2010!

Dear All

I am all confused and angry, My family in India sent my Son'spassport to CHC,New delhi on the 27 March 2011,I have an email confirming that they are in receipt of the passport dated 05 April 2011, as a spoil sport I receive a letter dated 05 April 2011 informing us that they are still awaiting receipt of the passport!!! which I received on the 21 April, I emailed CHC immediately yet till date there has been no response despite being 11 days since.

Is there a way I could contact the CHC apart from the usual email to elicit a quick response, on a separate note my son is only 1.5 years what could possibly take them over a month to take a decision, not that he would have accumulated brownie points aka; criminal background check.

Could not having a job be a reason for the delay in the application? I landed in Canada in October 2010

Can someone assist me, I want to know if I can move my husbands sponsorship from Islamabad to New Delhi.

I sponsored my hubby in January 2010 and still have nothing on our case.

Its very sad to say that the process in Pakistan to reunite with our spouses is CRAPPY.

as per my knowledge is concerned, this is not possible...chc islamabad has already started the file and therefore they are not going o transfer the case to chc nd...

in my opinion, even if you call them or email them they still dont reply in time...the best thing i would suggest is that u send them a CSE, include ur info and tell them that you have mailed it already...they may or may not reply informing u that they have received the pp..

Fax or ask your wife to go in person. They do see applicants from 11-12.
There is a chance of them giving you more details and i know this 100% from some other user experiences.

Weird, my wife's is still up.
Address does nothing to your file, it is just a system update.

Okay ! NEWS my medicals got expired while the file was with CIC... now i received a call from ND lady asking me my DOB to confirm and then asked me to verify my address so that she can send me a registered post which would include med forms and my passport and i have to get it done and send it back to them.

Also the landing fees was paid and reg post mail was sent to CPC on march 24 and they say its still not updated, she wanted me to follow up on that too.

Sorry buddy...why did you do you medicals one year in advance? just curious as it expires after one year.
Don worry about the landing fee..they have the record in their system.

Why ND is keeping the passport for long without a decision? is it normal for them to take this much of time or something to worry about?

We have had a lot of users in this forum who had to wait 2-4,5 months after sending the PP.
Depends on the VO, some finalize and then ask for PP some just ask it early and then process the case.
"NORMAL" is not a word found anywhere in CHC ND dictionary.
