ya Rachel, Media folks, like every year, are blowing things out of proportion! Things are under control. Though it has been pouring since day before, I see sunlight now when I look out of the window .....

FYI everyone, CHC Delhi called me 2 hrs back!!!!!!!! They want my FBI clearance certificate as I stayed in the US for more than 6 months!!! FBI photocopy from my previous app. was not accepted as anticipated! I knew it that they would ask for it....I hope I get it this week.... I applied for the clearance on June 25th and my Credit Card got charged Aug 18th.... I wish I had got it before the phone call!!! Good Luck all!

visa was stamped on 18th august but the despatch date is 20th august.so it just took 2 working days to reach.greattttttt!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Congrats Dilneet!.. I m new to this forum...but my application is almost 10 month old. Recently Got PPR and Re-Medicals on 23 Jul 10...done and sent on 29 Jul 10 to CHC Nd...but since then no update......Dilneet...Did u checked the ECas status today? Congratulations once more!

That's awesome dilneet! Really Really Happy for u and so glad that this thread is buzzing with activity today! Good News brings smile to all the hopeful members! Have a great life ahead! Congrats again. I know that my case will be delayed by a few weeks but so glad that at least things are moving and I can already see the light at the end of the tunnel after a painful wait of almost 1 1/2 yrs! Waiting impatiently for the mailman to deliver the FBI Clearance now! I politely asked the rep. of CHC-Delhi if she could let me know the status of the app., she immediately responded by telling me to check for updates online! She first called on my mobile and then on the landline as I did not pick up the mobile phone!! She even asked me why I did not pick up the mobile! I apologized sheepishly!
