Yah...it looks like no updates from anyone here.

Mine still says Inprocess since April19th, not sure why they taking long time to finish of the process

If its Inprocess then how long it took to "inprocess" after ND received your PP?

Hi nanipanjakadi,

our ecas says in process...and the usual lines afterwards with medical results have been received. Honestly I cannot really remember it's been way too long since it's been in process, just the waiting is killing me and making me forget...but I do believe it went in process at the end of November right after ND received my spouses PP

our ecas says in process...and the usual lines afterwards with medical results have been received. Honestly I cannot really remember it's been way too long since it's been in process, just the waiting is killing me and making me forget...but I do believe it went in process at the end of November right after ND received my spouses PP

Did they ask u for additional doc request / interviewed / any kind of action happened after it went to Inprocess?

Did you enquire CIC ND anytime after it went to Inprocess?

Basically we did get an additional doc request in March...but before that we were literally just waiting. I am waiting for the MP's office to find out more info regarding my spouses application but I did wait the 6 months it states online before making any enquiry.

I m bit worried about my process after looking at your and some other members on these forum...mine just went to Inprocess on April19th...

i think there should be a place to add travel history under your name on left side. : : : :
i also have 1.5 years travel history, dont know how long it will take for sure but from new delhi thread i calculated an average time of 3 months for DM after PPR for 1-2 years travel history. but we cannot predict, whats going on in Immigration officer's mind about our case.

Hahah thnx but my spouse doesn't has travel history i am assuming i am safe on these part...And thats the only hope i am having to get Visa quickly...

yes thats good if your spouse has no travel history, you will get your DM soooooon. btw i added my travel history to my timeline 8) 8)

I received an email yesterday about my request to submit my passport at the end of final review stage.

The email received like this...

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

If you are currently outside of India, or have upcoming or frequent travel outside of India, you are not required to submit your passport at this time. However, if you are not submitting your passport with the other items requested, you must submit a letter explaining why you are unable to submit your passport. When the processing of your application has reached the final review stage, we will send you a second request letter. Once you receive this letter, you must submit your passport by the date specified, failing which your application may be refused.

Please note that waiting for a second passport request will delay the completion of processing of your application.

Your visa can only be issued by the visa office where your application is in process and cannot be transferred to Canada or any other visa office for visa issuance. As well, Indian law prohibits the sending of passports in and out of the country by mail or courier.

Once you submit your passport, you will need to provide a mailing address in India to which your passport can be returned by Registered mail after your visa is issued. If that address is different than the address currently on your file, you will need to submit an original letter, signed by you, requesting a change of address.

A trusted friend, relative, or agent may send, through the secure means outlined above, from within India, your passport to our office on your behalf. However, please note that it is your responsibility to send the passports to our office in adherence with international law and within the deadline which we have given you for such submission.

Applicants can check the status of their case on the CIC website by clicking on Client Application Status. For actual processing times of permanent resident applications in New Delhi for the last 12 months, please click here. Applicants may also refer to our website, www.india.gc.ca, for more information about processing times.

This is great news for you! It's too bad that your overall processing will be delayed but this way your job remains secure, and if your wife is with you then the wait is more bearable. I was hoping Delhi would be accommodating, pleased that they can be sometimes as we see now

Hmmm strange...Can you please let us know how u enquired ND CIC?(Email / MP / GCM notes etc....) I am thinking to enquire them to know the status. How many days it took them to reply you back after you sent request?
