Siva, just curious, asides the case that it is disappearing for all, how do you know it is of maintenance thing? I mean has this been the case before??

It is just my hunch. I am no IT guy but have worked with them.
Also I have been closely watching other sources like other forums.
There are contradictory observations. No pattern is emerging out.

Any Database needs periodic maintenance and usually the front end is de-linked during the maintenance.
It might just be a coincidence when people get something when address disappears.

That's true, but i thought they would have added a msg on the website for database maintenance also the whole section would have to be down not just the address part but also the application status and checking thing. Anyways, thanks for the clarification

To some extent your expectation is right,
However this is not a huge transactional database
so no notice might be required thought them.

As far as the "whole section" is concerned
it doesnt happen like that
if you ever seen in online banking...you may be able to login but you may not able to see the statement or any actions is possible.

We dont know what it is.

^^^the disappearance has no pattern whatsoever, this time.
It just disappeared for all (i mean, most of us, who are in different stages of processing timeline).

not for all, i saw in other thread some ppl add. is not disappeared

Long way to go,
most probably within a week after approval.
sometimes some people get before approval!

Hey Guys, Kindly give suggetions

As ND-CHC sent me PPR on 25/01/2012
now i want to resign my current job and i have to give one month advance notice to my employer.
I'm confused now wehether to resign or wait for another one month, as ND-CHC generally takes 2 months (+/- 15 days) for issuing visa after PPR.
kindly suggest.
