They usually request for additional documents to complete the processing of your application but the interview could mean they find something suspicious. What's your timeline?

Just make all the preparation you need to do and go for the interview. Also, gather the right documents they need and you'll be fine.

Hi everyone, please, Has anyone received PPR Lately?

Not sure even though one person had claimed to have gotten PPR last week Friday but wasn't updated here and don't know how true it is. Am sure it's as a result of the upcoming elections next Monday. Looks like it has slowed down some visa offices. They always need a reason to js be slow.

Anyway please all those in Canada who will be voting please vote well. Hehehehehehe it might affect the immigration system.

Did they give you a date? My wife is still waiting to get a date for her interview

I really don’t see how the election should affect PPR in our LOCAL VO.

IKR and hope it really doesn't affect it. Our MP when contacted told my spouse that, the elections had slowed everything down for now and until elections is done not much can be done. Anyway don't know if she was referring to herself or IRCC. She just told us to hope their party wins hehehehe she was sorta campaigning indirectly.

Say the final review is done by an actual canadian in AVO he/she would be in Canada by now to participate meaning no response till returns. I mean am js thinking out loud, unless voting is online. I am just forced to believe they always find the little reasons to be funny or delay processes

As for PPR and decision made nothing can affect it but atleast the speed of which it would be sent I believe it can be affected by the old/new party.
