Yes, same here.

So I checked additional service and it shows that one way courier is N15,080.

Just wondering, when I pay how do I notify them with the address to send to and evidence of payment?

You could be right. I just got a message from VFS saying decision envelop has been dispached from IRCC.. Hopefully we don't have to wait too long before it is being transmitted from Accra to Naija.

Please @Godly8319, did you enquired before receiving this kind of mail or this was sent to you directly on how to get your passport back?
Because I was only referred to VFS website in the email I received on how to get my passport.

I'm asking because I saw another mail on VFS website and it's different from the one you received.
Just want to be sure I'm sending the details of my payment and address to the right email address.

Whoever has answer should please reply.

Hi,

Please I am new to the group and would like some insights.



My husband is a Canadian citizen he applied for me in Canada



  1. We received your application for permanent residence on August 28, 2020.
  2. We started processing your application on March 31, 2021.
  3. We sent you correspondence on January 29, 2021. I
  4. We sent you medical instructions on April 7, 2021.
  5. Did my medical April 28 2021.
  6. Medical results have been received.( May)
I was not instructed by o do my medicals,and since May I have not heard a word.



I have seen people who


I check every day using The online tool is updated to "In progress"



Please I would like to know:

1) Any idea of the timeline to receive a request to submit passport where PR shows decision made and the pre-arrival letter sent?



2) Is it normal to have your medicals done before biometrics



Thanks for any response received.

What was the correspondence they sent Jan 29th?

Guys I didnt recieve an email saying that my passport has been approved but I received an email saying its ready for collection should I be worried?

Nah... you are good.
The update on "approved" didn't come as an email. It was updated in the online account (GC Key). So no need to worry.
Congrats!! Glad you got the collection email cos you were worried about medicals.
