It's a general one but it should forward your information request to AVO.
I've been intentionally quiet lately. But just to let you guys know, my husband had an interview in Ghana yesterday. Not really to prove genuineness of the relationship, but to confirm some other things as there are children involved. He was told on the spot that he had passed. He received pre-arrival today and we expect PPR tomorrow.

Congratulations dear we thank God we’re also here still waiting for our good news we sent AVO an updated change of address and an enquiry and they acknowledged our mail still fingers crossed cos we’re 16 months already.

So this pre-arrival email you hear about is not some mythical unicorn type creature as ha previously thought. It's real.
Got a request for medicals on Monday . Applied for PR Jan10 2018 , application went to Ghana in April .. now fingers crossed to hear what's next after my medicals and not sure when we will hear from them again?? Hmmm

Started my husband’s application in Oct 2017, got an Aor few weeks later, was asked to provide schedule A and police certificate in Dec, asked to go for medical in March 2018, uptill now my Ecas keeps saying in process despite he fact that I added a doctors report asking for my husband to be present at my daughters delivery she’s six month old now and we are still waiting to have him around. Pls any Oct 2017 applicant here? And how far have u gone if yes?

14months ago,i was on this forum every single second,minuets,hours,days and months when i was going through my application process and i know it must be very rough and hard for everyone who is still waiting to hear from immigration.
I know it isn't an easy process having to leave miles away from your love once but same time,it will always leave you momeries when you finally get approved and settle in canada with your love once.
With the frustration,sleepless nights,anxity of what is next to hear from immgration but at the end of the day,going through forum made me learn alot and i pray and wish everyone who is waiting to hear from immgration to recieve good news and short waiting time.life has been very busy and it's soo hard to keep track to this forum when you settle in canada.
If anybody need any advise or help with any question to feel free and send me a personal message and will response as soon as i can

I'm still waiting until we are finished before I post what I've learnt, but the main thing is - this will end. Everyone will hear. Maybe not in the timeframe we want, but everyone will hear.
