We received PPR on Sunday morning.
We are grateful to God, this journey has been a very long one, with lots of patience.
To everyone expecting to hear good news, I pray God answers your requests speedily.

Congratulations to everyone that received PPR!
Quick question for you. Did your eligibility check pass? And did your background check changed to "in process"? I mean prior to PPR

Pls share with us your landing experience at the Airport with the immigration.
I was initially supposed to land through Calgary but due to that flight being cancelled in London due to bad weather, i was rescheduled to land through Toronto having to do a layover or 8hrs there when i was supposed to do 3hrs.
When the air Canada flight was about 30mins from landing in Toronto we were given the customs forms on board to fill out. At Toronto i joined the customs que, when it got to my turn i handed it over to the customs guy who looked through and demanded my passport, after checking my visa and stamps, he said "welcome to Canada" i have to direct you to the immigration desk when your paper work will be finalized.
At the desk the immigration guy collected my passport and the forms from AVO. In less than 5mins he was done, signed his part and i also signed mine, handed my copy to me asked for my final destination and said "welcome to Canada, your PR card will be mailed to you within 4-6 weeks, in order to maintain your PR status, your total stay in Canada should be 2yrs out of 5yrs, enjoy your stay and your new country".
I then asked him if i had to pick up my bags and re check them in since i was transiting and he said no, you pick them up at your final destination. I quickly rushed to my boarding gate since i had like an hour to my next flight and had to look for the gate.

Congratulations @Lagosbabe & @debbiejosh! The end is soooo close! I pray the same for everyone who has been waiting patiently in Jesus name. May good news keep flowing here.

I got my passport back this morning with 2 forms (which I’m guessing will be requested for upon landing). I leave tomorrow night to land on the 14th and I’m just so glad that all of this is over. Still feels like a dream and I honestly cannot wait to be in my hubby’s arms.

I want to thank each and every single person that has been so helpful through out this whole process - from giving advice and suggestions to sharing experiences and just generally providing emotional support... too many names to mention. God bless you all. It will all end in praise for all of us in Jesus name.

I wish you all the absolute best and a beautiful, amazing year in Jesus name! xxx
