congratulations to @Ugoswife, @bbccanada and anyone else I mayhave forgotten who got PPR in the last few days!

@RoamingSpirit , I have been having internet issues, so between when I wrote you my last note and this morning , my background check changed to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

OK thanks for the update. Seems like they are updating that just before they send for PPR? I would have thought the background check would have taken some time.

Praise God! I got PPR about an hour ago!
I mail AVO this morning to tell them that I had submitted my FBI and Nigerian police report but the Texas State, they will receive next week due to the Thanksgiving weekend. I also asked if there were any other documents they wanted me to update on my file so I can submit all at once. I don't know if it played any part but they sent ppr this afternoon and asked for passport photos and updated family info. 5hwy didn't ask for Schedule A but I'm going to include that as well because I don't want them to ask me to send it later. I'm so grateful that the journey is almost over. Now fingers crossed that I may spend this holiday period with hubby!!!!
Good luck to everyone still waiting. My advice, if there are any outstanding docs you suspect they may request esp police reports from foreign countries, get them done ASAP and send them in unsolicited to avoid any unnecessary waste of time.

Congratulation to Ugoswife and everyone with PPR AND PUM. God almighty has done it for us and we are asking more to come is the history of this forum. we were not use to seeing more PPR for a while but since the AVO has been throwing us with visas we are grateful but we are hungry more than ever to see everyone including our computers get visa.

we already got PPR on Oct 24th @RoamingSpirit. It has said "Not Applicable" since then until this week. I'm wondering if receipt of the Police clearance is what toggled it.

It should be the police report. Maybe they are in the process of verifying it.

Hello house I need your help.i sent an email to AVO this morning asking for our pick up mail since our passeport is with them for one month. They replied sending an attached email with medical exam directives.but our medical is still valid till January and we sent the receipt with our passeport. What do o do now I'm so confused

Does your medical say passed or received on any of your online account? I guess it was upfront so did you provide them prof of completion or just a receipt from the hospital because the proof of completion should have a number they van use to access your results. You should reply them with the receipt again and let them know your medicals are valid till January. It's probably an oversight on their part.

My online account says:we are reviewing your medical result.when they send us the medical directives we went to see the doctor and he says he ca not do another medical exam since the one we did is still valid and he told us that he send them the result since January.yes it was an upfront exam.thank u for the suggestion i will do that.

Hello members, yesterday we were talking about the DHL and I think anyone who goes to Accra should take a chance to send everything right there very fast and convenient. My wife went to do medical yesterday so I told her to send everything in Accra instead of going back home to send. The package was received at DHL facilities in Accra yesterday around 12.30pm and it was delivered the sameday AVO around 3:15pm when I checked the tracking number this morning was signed by Nabi Jones. You don't answer inquiries though. I remember a couple of people asking for your timeline last week when you said you got PPR and you're a May 2017 applicant. You never responded. Now in less than a week, you've come again to say you've gotten PUM - which isn't the norm. I believe the essence of this group is to share experiences & support each other. We don't like half stories please. *rolling my eyes*

Initially submitted in Jan 23rd & was returned in Feb
Submitted again in feb & was returned in March
Submitted again in May 26 & was received May 29
Aor1 July 5
SA July 13 was going back & fort on it from July till September ....... they where asking from 1 thing or the other....
My husband got transferred mail Sept 14
Oct 16th saw 3rd line on my Ecas
Got PPR mail Nov 17th
DHL on Mon Nov 20th
Got to Accra 22nd
To my greatest surprise saw PUM today Nov 23rd

I submitted my passport the same day as yours..and almost the same time avo recieved it..i am yet to get pick up mail despite the fact they expect me to leave by 20th of december...something doesn't add up really

@Skod this your TL get as e be oo let me not lie...its as if you're a special candidate with AVO...our passport was recieved the same day at avo and you've already received PUM...errmm...I'm definitely skeptical oo
