I feel what you're feeling...i had my wedding anniversary in august too without my wife...i haven't even held my son yet and he'll be 6months in a week time..if AVo continues this 12 month period thing my son will be 9 months before i even get to meet him cos i applied in February 2017...all we can do is to be strong for each other!

Have faith. I was in the same shoes. Our son is 16 months old as of Nov 1st and will finally meet his dad for the first time tomorrow. I know it's tough but like someone said, live your life. FaceTime a and whatsapp video chat as much as you can. Fervently pray and your prayers will be answered. All the best dear

@Jayotuks, I think they are not doing anything with the 2017 application yet. The only difference between yours being May 2017 and mine being January 2017 is the additional document where mine says being reviewed and yours says being uploaded. Honestly, I am very stress with the pace of processing in AVO but I can't complain a lot cos the 2016 applicants are going through hell with this long waiting game.

Its correctly displayed LOL.... I wonder myself too when will the BGC begin??? its been 8 months and over for you and still no other correspondence??
