Please I am new to the forum. Im glad i found this forum. I'm July 2016 applicant. I'm still waiting to hear from AVO. Please do anyone have any idea how long it takes to receive a PR card in the mail after landing in Canada? A friend of mine got his PR and about to travel, he asked me the question but I didn't have any idea. I hope I'll get help from the forum.

Hi,

Its nice to have found this page! I applied for a study permit in accra and wanted to ask, how long does it take for one to find out if they need to attend an interview after you send in your application. My initial page after application says I do not need an interview but they will contact me if that changes....is that a sign that i may not need an interview or that is how the application appears initially before they book an interview date for you? my other question is i took my medicals upfront like a week before i applied but under medicals, my application page just says I dont need medicals but it doesnt say whether I passed the medicals or not. the clinic said it takes 3 days for the results to be available to the embassy so shouldn't it have shown up by now?

thanks.

anybody????

Nobody can predict how long it will take before interview except CIC bro..

Just be checking your mail/email and get yourself ready too incase the called you...

Some people experience the same situations like that of your medical, if they need something from you they will contact you..

I will also advice you to check for students application forum, as this forum base family sponsorship ..

We might not offer you all the need answers you need here..so also check for study permit applicant's forum..

Thanks you

Praiseeeeeee the Lord. My love landed yesterday . We are soo happy and so blessed to be together and celebrate our 1 year of marriage in May. Wishing you all the same happiness and positive results.

Praying this is a week of good news...

P.s. does anyone in toronto know how much the yellow fever injection costs?

When I got my vaccination about 2-3 years ago, it was $130. But I'm not sure if other clinics charge more/less.

Congratulation TeamCMor, enjoy your time and all the best with the nice weather coming up.

Hi timosky, sorry it took long to respond to your message.regarding the airport process,it's simple and easy.just make sure you fill out the declaration card before you land to make the process fast.once you come out of the plane, you go straight to CICB and the officer will check your declaration and will ask you to go to immigrantion.at immigration, office will ask,why are in Canada today and you answer by saying "am here to immigrate ".she will then Ask you who sponsored you and you answer by saying either my husband or wife.he or she will then ask you if you have been convicted with any charges or been deported from Canada before, they wil also ask if you have any dependent who will be coming at a later date and final ask you which address you will be staying for them to send you your PR card.last she will tell you if you want your SIN,you can go to the next kiosk.after you go to customs to pick our bag.for me,officer didn't open my bag.it will be different for everyone.wish you all the best in your landing

Jay
