It's not a good news to get DM before ppr, specially in accra office.

DM before ppr is a refusal from my research i made.its not a good sign.Normally DM is the last word you see on the application once they issus ppr and visa is stamped in the passport as far as my application is concern.Remember samola and one other person who went for interview and later DM.he/she was refused.

Has the person in question been previously asked for extra proof or did he attend an interview? It's my understanding that before refusal in spousal sponsorship cases extra evidence or interview is usually requested.

I agree with you but regardless of extra documents or interview.once Accra office don't ask for ur passport and u see decision made,it's a refusal on the application because DM even with some other applicants I researched on their application changed when they recieved their passport back with a permanent resident stamp.anything other than this process.its a refusal letter

Not all cases that they request for additional proof or an interview to refuse the application. If the red flag on the application is beyond a reasonable doubt they refuse the application and send the reason for refusing.

Very true my brother.i have seen applications where additional documents or interview wasn't requested but yet application was refused

Hi all, good to be to read the stories of wonderful people all chasing one goal ''to unite with their loved ones''. Same reason I'm here and strongly believe by the Grace of God we all shall get positive news from cic these year based on their new processing timeline. I get a lot of help from this forum when I was filling my forms along side my wife, I would have done lots of mistakes if not for help from here. Definitely I owe this forum a lot, wish I can tell each one of you a special thank you individually. I sincerely appreciate. My application was received January 25th 2017, AOR Feb 19th, March 2nd SA and file transfer to Accra visa office, started processing my application March 16th. So those are my timeline so far. But we have a little challenge, at the beginning we were able to pay only the application fee of 550, now we want to pay the RPRF after logging in to cic site and heading straight to pay fees, at the fee log, there was no option of paying 490, what we found was 550 and the full payment of a thousand plus, now this got us confused because we want to pay that asap so we don't use the money for some other things. Anyone in this same situation or who have dealt with such situation in the past should come to our rescue.
Thank you all and hope pray for a successful new week for everyone.

Have you figured it out? re: how to pay the $490.00 on line? There used to be payment at the bank but that has been cancelled. I see what you mean. On the website the options are only for the full $1040.00, $550.00 or $150.00. There is no option for the $490.00.

The question has been answered in the main forum:http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t484705.0.html

This is the link to payment: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/result.asp?countrySelect=GH&lob=rprf

https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/order.do?category=8

When you get to the payment page, choose your country and next. On the next page choose Right of Permanent Resident Fee. It is third from the bottom. You will be taken to the next page to pay it.

If that doesn't work call CIC from within Canada.

All the best

@WaitingInTO: As long as your file location is Case Assessement Eligibility that means your eligibility is currently being assessed by an officer. If your file location is PA you should be concerned. PA means Put Away, in other words no one is looking through it at this time. You should hear from them soon.

@Envoy contact your representative for further clarification. Did they submit further document at your request? you would get answers soon ok. Try not to over think it.

Thank you @TeamCMOR and bbcCanada. I will continue to wait patiently.
